Highly recommend! Wr needed to remove all the furniture from my momâs apartment after she passed away. The furniture was in very good condition so we hoped it could be donated and reused. Almost all of the donation centers we contacted had so many restrictions and stipulations and were unable to schedule soon enough for us. After seeing pics of what we wanted to donate, CR donations was able to come within a few days and take away all the items for a reasonable fee. It is nice to know that they then donate the items to charitable organizations. Chad and Rachel were amazing. They worked hard and efficiently. From the time we made first contact until the last item was taken away, they were always texting, calling and keeping open lines of communication. That was most appreciated.
2nd post ( 9 mos after ). We called CR donations because we had to find a new home for living room furniture before our new furniture came. I tried giving it away on social media sites but had to deal with scams and waiting for people who never showed. As before, Chad and Rachel were quick to respond and easy to schedule asap . I cannot rave enough about Chad and Rachel and their reliability, professionalism and work ethic. They are also kind and friendly. They are providing a much needed service for people who have used items in good condition that will help someone else and also for the environment since many of these items may have ended up in land fills. Their fees are very reasonable for he service...
Read moreI reached out to this business after my elderly father found their number on a donation site. He believed pickup for donated furniture was free, so I texted to confirm. Instead of a kind clarification, I received a curt response stating they âdonât do freeâ and âdonât know Joe or Dillon,â followed by a defensive message. I completely understand businesses need to charge for their services, but the tone came across as unnecessarily rude.
A simple, polite response â something like, âHi, thank you for reaching out! We donât offer free pickup, but weâd be happy to provide a quote or recommend donation servicesâ â would have gone a long way. We decided not to use them because of this experience. Just some advice
Edit in response to ownerâs reply: Thank you for responding. I want to clarify that my review wasnât meant to attack your business but to share an honest experience. Youâre correct - I did not use your services, because the tone of your text communication turned me away before I ever had the chance. That is a valid customer experience, and itâs something potential customers will want to know.
Your reply here unfortunately illustrates the same defensiveness I encountered over text. A professional response would acknowledge the misunderstanding and clarify your policy without dismissing the customer. Reviews arenât just about completed services, they also reflect first impressions, communication, and...
Read moreIt's so rare to find a small business that's operated by such genuinely helpful and caring people. Chad and Raechel offer a tremendous service and are professional, polite, personable, and highly efficient.
In the midst of moving to a new home, I found myself lost and frustrated with trying to figure out how to donate several pieces of furniture. Trying to figure out which charity will accept which pieces could be a full time job... which is exactly why C&R Donations exists. What would have taken me needing to rent a truck and a helper (multiple times) to go from charity to charity to drop off my donations, Chad and Raechel were able to take care of for me in under an hour and for a very reasonable fee. Worth every cent and then some.
I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to have items hauled away, especially if you're looking for the peace of mind in knowing that your items will be going to new homes and not straight into a landfill.
Thank you, Chad and Raechel!!!! You have no idea how much I...
