We had a great time and are glad we traveled to support another down town trying to build community and encourage the arts! The reason I gave it a 4 rating include, first thing I experienced was a barking dog interrupting the singer in spite of clear request on your flyer no dogs. Where was security before I reported this? Second was loud reverberation bouncing off facing building and diminishing sound quality. I noticed second band turned the speakers out themselves thus reducing reverb. Third thing was lack of complimentary signage for the performers. It'd be nice to sign on a local company to provide placard or poster or nice hanging sign promoting the artists. Third thing was the side distraction of the hoola-hoops and unicorn thing. Although it enhances family fun and group activity, having so close to the mics allowed the lateral sounds to come through the mics to the speakers. (I love kids but also worried several times about safety risk of wrestling kids near the heaters ans dry corm stalks.) Overall very good. Keep it up and you'll soon be an outstanding venue for up and coming musicians and have a thriving downtown community. Thanks for...
Read moreHands down, the single best thing to hit Bridgton since the Farmer’s Market!! I am local and have attended each event since Music on Main kicked off, and intend to keep that streak running. Reggae night was by far our favorite event—the musicians (B Positive and Catcha Vibe), the performer (Nettie Loops), and the weather championed the night. The Jazz band the following week (Midnight Breakfast) was phenomenal. The food trucks have been such a treat.. We love Mister Pretzel, but I have been blown away by The Greenhouse by Sao and Street Eats—like BLOWN awayyyyy. This event brings me so much joy, AND it’s a place we can bring our 4 young kids and they have just as much fun as we do. Huge thank you to all who volunteer—I honestly don’t know how you have pulled this off, but it’s the best kind of fun and community I can imagine in the wake of what has been a pretty gray time in the world. Support your local artists, entrepreneurs, and your heart and come on out to Music on Main

It's a very relaxed and enjoyable...
