I’m doing the Maine Yarn Cruise and rating all the shops. This place was a mixed bag. The woman running it was pleasant. The yarn selection was lovely, but small (I struggled to find enough coordinating shades for a project and finally gave up). They also have a selection of many other fiber arts, like felting, weaving and cross stitch. Soap, tea and other goodies round out the selection. Jim is an expert on CSMs and can be found knitting the very soft, hand cranked socks they sell made from the yarn they spin. To round out the selection for shoppers there are knitting supplies and items made by local craftsmen. Set in a beautiful New England 4-season town with lots of shopping and...

December 1 is still a week and a half away and I can hardly wait to begin opening the calendar's windows! There are so many wonderful and beautiful supplies for handworkers in this shop and two attentive and knowledgeable people to show them to you. I plan to visit them in their new location in Bridgton on my next trip up...
