Has Potential, Needs improvement
I reduced this to 1 star after seeing on my credit card statement that they charged me $12 for parking... parking at NSU that was so far away from the event that people had to ride a shuttle to/from. Upon leaving, the line for a shuttle back to the parking lot was so long it would have been hours before getting on the bus. A woman with a baby in a stroller was complaining about the wait in the sun. She had been waiting for 30 minutes and was nowhere near the front of the line, and did not have...
Read moreSecond year going to scotsfest at broken arrow and probably the last. To start off there seemed to be a lot less organization this year. Parking , bus line, and entry to event were chaotic and lacked direction. Our tickets were prepaid which should have been an easy entry. Nope we had to go to a different place to get in. Also had purchased the beer mug and first beer. Was not given a drink ticket . So when I went to get a drink I had to explain to the bar the gate did not give me a ticket. She scanned my batcode and have me one. Card only drink was a BAD BAD idea!. Lines were terrible! Their system kept crashing. All of which caused big lines and delays. Bus line to exit event was AWEFUL!. No organization or direction. People were creating 2 and three lines to exit. So overall, 10 dollars to park 30 dollars for entry and one beer are high. Everything but water was expensive!. I will say water was a very respectable dollar and the entertainment was good. I hope the organizers do a little more "organizing for next year. As it stands I do not...
Read moreWe attended Scotfest for the second year in a row. I purchased 2 Outlander GA tickets which included an exclusive beer mug and a free first pour. We went on the first night. We get inside and walk to the beer tent closest to where the competitions were taking place. We go to get our free pour and are told we don't get to choose our free pour this year. It had to be Miller Lite. We even asked if we could upgrade our beer choice and pay the difference. They said we couldn't do that. We were confused because it was never mentioned on the website or social media. The previous year, people got to choose what they wanted for their first pour. We never drink Miller Lite and would never choose that. Also, there were not near enough beer choices or beer vendors. I feel the previous year was a bit more organized and provided more provisions. I'm not sure if we'll attend next...
