All Aboard Train Depot — Local services in Brookfield

This store has made improvements since they relocated from upstairs to downstairs last year. Most of their locomotives and rolling stock in "O" scale (MTH, Lionel, Williams, etc.) and "HO" scale (Athearn, Atlas, Bachmann, BLI, Roundhouse, Walthers, etc.) seem to be new old stock or lightly used from collections; they also carry "G" scale and some "N" scale. They also have a variety of scenery/building items, hardware, track, and other accessories for all scales mentioned, as well as new old stock train sets from Lionel and MTH. Prices for most items seem to be fair and reasonable. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful. If an online inventory was set up (and updated as-needed), this store...

When I stopped by in 2021 they had a great supply of Lionel O gauge things as well as other stuff. I had called looking to make a list of G gauge dealers in CT and this place does not have much for G gauge, but otherwise is a great little store, and when I called the owner was extremely nice and liked to talk about trains so I will be making sure I get in there this year to get O gauge things...

I gave them 2 stars because as at least they were open. I think I threw the guy behind the counter off a little. First he had to stop looking at his computer screen and then I asked a question about trains. They looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Never going back.
