With the recommendation of a few friends I decided to check out El Mexicano a few months ago. I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area and I have to say none have impressed me as much as this place soup to nuts. Jose, The owner, is a jolly friendly guy that always welcomes with a warm smile. All of his staff are also very positive and accommodating, something that is lacking in the service industry these days.

Now on to the food! I've become a regular, go there at least once a week. So I've tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is exceptional. Always served hot and fresh and the flavors are phenomenal. Best Mexican restaurant around!

My favorite dish is the Mexicano chef special, I get the shrimp and it had amazing flavor combination of white wine and garlic sauteed with peppers onions and tomatoes(see pic). On a side note, importantly to me they de-tail(I hate when there's tails on shrimps when I go out to eat personally).

One of my other favors is the El Mexicano. Great combination of different flavors and textures. (see pic).

Lastly while you're waiting for your entrees enjoy the homemade salsa. One of the best around!

PS: Jose makes a absolutely...

We ordered online and picked up. Ordering was very simple. You’re allowed to make edits to your meal if you want to add or take away items. The order was ready in 30 minutes as promised. There was a huge parking lot. Dining inside and a few tables outside. The Decour inside is charming and looks to be authentic. When picking up the employees were friendly.

Unfortunately, the food was a little bit of a letdown. After reading all the reviews, I thought I would be blown away. The food was just meh. We ordered a few different items to try a little bit of everything. Most of the food had little to no flavor. The steak and cheese quesadilla was good, not great. The beef chimichanga and enchilada were a little better than the street tacos and quesadilla. The sauce had good flavor. I’m glad I saved them for last. Will I come back? Not before trying other Mexican restaurants...

When you walk in, you feel right at home. Touches of traditional Mexican decor with a modernized twist. Jose the owner greeted us with a big smile, a warm heart and beautiful hospitality. We started off with drinks like margaritas. They were delicious! We had guacamole and tortilla chips to start along with a delicious cheese dip. For entrees we had a variety of tacos and a Ropa vieja. Tacos are a traditional size served on corn tortillas or preferred flour as an option. For dessert we had banana cheesecake turnover and a chocolate lava cake. The Best ever!! A few tequila shots. Over all a wonderful dinning experience with the best of savory and sweet. You will leave with your belly’s full, a content heart, and a smile. Thank you for a wonderful experience and wishing continued much success and endless customers to visit and enjoy...
