I boarded my dog here for a day and a half, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised. My dog couldnât participate in group play because sheâs timid around other dogs (nonaggressive), but the staff assured me they could accommodate her needs. In reality she spent 26 of the 28 hours locked in her kennel, with only one 20 minute âindividual playâ session with little engagement from the staff. I paid for their most expensive boarding option, only to be told afterward that due to staffing, they combined her playtime with potty breaks. Thatâs too long for an 8 month active puppy to be confined, especially one whose highest reward is spending time with people. To make matters worse they left her overnight with a bully bone (which can be a choking hazard) and turned off the cameras, without ever disclosing that I would lose visibility of her. Veronica blamed me for not telling them that she should not be left unsupervised with that treat. I personally feel itâs common knowledge that dogs shouldnât be left with those types of treats unsupervised. While she was left in the room for over 12 hours overnight she also peed the only comfortable spot she had to lay in. The is unusually behavior.
They also skipped meals despite clear instructions both online and on the labeled meal baggies (which I know were read because she was served the right bag at other meals), they skipped her dinner entirely. She was picked up at almost 2pm the following day and yet to be given lunch.
Communication before and during the stay was lacking, and the general manager, Veronica, took no real responsibility for how things were handled. This was an anxiety inducing experience from start to finish, and Iâm relieved I didnât sign up for the month of day boarding they suggested. No puppy will âadjustâ with only 20 minutes of disengaged playtime and hours of isolation.
This place might work for dogs who only need the bare minimum, but not for us. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously, make improvements, and provide better training for...
Read moreMy almost 2 yo golden doodle was boarded at your facility for the first time for 7 days. The communication was poor, I sent a message asking how Koa was doing and if she was eating on 12/24 and it was never addressed, not on that day or the day after. I requested, especially after she did not pass the assessment test, that I would be notified of the individual playing time so I could see her. This happened only once. During this individual time I noticed the staff person sitting down, looking at her phone, looking at the window. After a phone call it was explained to me that is the dog that "decides" what to do during the individual playing time. To this day I struggle to understand that statement. My dog, based on your feedback, was sad, shaky, felt out of place, how could she be expected to cheer up during the individual session if the staff is waiting to be led by the dog on what to do. Makes non-sense. I had also requested to make sure Koa is bathed before we picked her up. She was not. Having Koa at your care was one of the worst experiences in all honesty. We have another dog at home who has been boarded several times and we understand that not everything is perfect but this was way too much. The inability on my end to come and pick her up in addition to the way she was being taken care of by you made a mess of our holiday vacation. I found myself trying to see her in the cameras several times throughout the day for 7 days. I understand it was a busy season but there is no excuse for the lack of communication. This is owed to any customer who leaves a loved pet under your care. If you are that busy that cannot handle that many pets, then say so and as a customer I can look for another option. But do not promise what you cannot...
Read moreUpdate 8/30/25 Well, the boarding stay was NOT as great as the first day of play. I fully understand and am aware my big goof can be extremely rambunctious and I was told several times he needed to be given a break due to not taking corrections for dogs or people. I support and understand this. However, when I picked him up he had a BUNCH of scarring on his neck/face (from other dogs correcting or playing rough I get that) and raw elbows from laying on a hard surface too long. After the first full day of boarding I got daily texts about my pup needing breaks but NEVER about any injuries until the final day which was a small cut on his lip by his whiskers. There were no pictures posted/shared of my pup after the first full day and not once did I get any update besides him needing breaks. I get it, dogs are dogs. They play ruff, and I juries happen ESPECIALLY if one doesn't take corrections like I was told my guy is guilty of. However the lack of communication for these injuries is unacceptable. He had ZERO marks on him when I dropped him off and he comes back full of scars/scabs/bald spots. Waiting to talk to management, but I don't think we will be going back. Communication is key and I am extremely understanding, all it would have taken was a text, a phone, or an email and I would have been fine and completely understanding. Just makes it seem like someone is hiding something and that makes me uneasy
