Went to the cousin's on burleigh and seventy six street. Walked up to the front door and the front door had a sign that said sorry no bread I know there are other cousins in the area and I know. They bake their own bread and I also know that if they needed to they could get bread from another cousin's. However it's easier to just be lazy and put up a sign. There was No customers inside the building but all staff was behind the counter. I drove Up to a hundred and twenty fifth and burleigh to go to the newly remodeled cousins. Walked in and was greeted by somebody while they were on their phone. After waiting about two minutes for her to get off her phone I was then told to just hang on a second she walked away from the register. Another employee walked over and said can I help you and I said yes I would like 2order, Okay she'll be right out. This turned into another five minutes. So i've been in the building about twelve minutes now and have not ordered yet finally someone came over and took my order. It seemed as though everyone was ready to go home.. Nobody wanted to work.. I witnessed my sandwiches being wrapped up not knowing. They were mine but they were being wrapped up to go when I ordered for there. They called my number I went to pick it up and said could I have a tray please? I wanted this for here. There is no words used just a tray was placed in front of me and they walked away not good customer service. I just have to say that i've been a fan of cousins for many many years. It has now gotten so expensive and it's the same amount of food that you normally get so I don't know why prices are going up so much. I do know food costs go up but it should not cost thirty five dollars or two people that I have dinner. And also After over forty years of working in this business i've done everything except bartend I know how hard it is to deal With customers sometimes. After 40 years of working in food service and sales, I know how to work with people. I have found that a lot of times employees at cousins are very un -social. Lazy and just go away attitude! I have walked out after not being helped and i've also walked out after not being spoken to after being in a place for more than five minutes. I think it's ridiculous how people still have jobs when they don't do anything except stand there with look under face like I just Wanna go Home..... I would love to talk to management...
Read moreOver time I'm becoming very disappointed in this Cousin's location. I continue to patronize because it's COUSIN'S SUBS of course, but when I'm not pleased and reach out to corporate, they don't get back to you. I ordered via Doordarsh one day, and I only live approximately 8 minutes away, it took an hour and a half for my order to get to me. My sandwich was being made while the driver was actually waiting in the lobby, so it should've been fresh right? Well it was, but totally not what I ordered. 🤦🏽♀️ It was missing a few of my extras. Ok, no problem. I contacted the store, a manager put my name in the book for a free sandwich satisfaction for me. Well, went yesterday to get my free sub and order/pay for my son a sandwich. They gave me his sandwich AND FRIES I ORDERED, told me to pull up and wait while they make mine. I waited 10 minutes for that sandwich, watched 2 people pull off after receiving their orders, my sons sandwich and fries were cold at this point, and they forgot the 4 cookies that I ordered AND PAID FOR when they brought my bag out. I got them after a reminder, but then got home to see they went overboard when preparing my sandwich (I guess to please me), but PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE! JUST GIVE ME WHAT I OREDERED FOR ONCE!🤦🏽♀️ I was wrong for thinking 3rd times a charm. 3...
Read moreTERRIBLE! Came to this location yesterday as we used to live in WI and can’t get Cousins in MO. Our order was rung up wrong - no big deal. They refunded part of the order and made the correct sandwich. Today, on our way out of town, we wanted to stop by for another and grab one to bring home. We put in our order at 6:34p and took a seat 25 mins later and we start hearing commentary about them being out of regular bread. The cashier came over to ask what other bread we’d want - garlic or multi. We said garlic given the only options (even though multiple cars had come through the drive thru and gone as well as at least 2 other customers after us so likely we could’ve gotten regular bread but our order wasn’t made timely. After agreeing to garlic bread the cashier then came back and said there was only enough bread for 2 of our 4 sandwiches at which point I just requested a refund for half our order since it wasn’t going to be what we ordered anyway and we had already waited 30+ mins for our food. Not even an apology from the manager. Other customers had issues and no apologies either. A gentleman waited 15+ mins to speak to the manager and ask for Corporate’s phone number and she didn’t even acknowledge him. Avoid this location...
