If I could write less stars I would. Suggested this place for lunch to get delivered so our coworkers could enjoy lunch before christmas vacation. Food was delivered cold, and incomplete. Ordered pasta with a side of bread, got chips. Ordered mac and cheese with bacon, got bleu cheese. Ordered sandwich with yellow mustard, got brown. Soup was cold and only filled up half way. Called in just to see if I could get my sandwich remade, I was told that I would have to call another company to request a refund...They told me they would get back to me on an answer as to why...Called back and was told again they would get back to me but never did. Very disappointed we spent almost $60 on cold food that we didn't order. Delivery driver was nice though (she wasnt employed by corner bakery however).
Update: Contacted doordash because corner bakery told us to get our refund that way. Doordash said the corner bakery should have been calling them to issue the refund. So why are we being thrown around ? This is literally the worst service ever
Another Update: Coworker contacted corner bakery to get an update. They told them that we complained about a delivery being 3 hours late. That is literally impossible when order was delivered 10 minutes early and complaint made right after. They then told us a manager would be following up with us. They hung up without taking my number. First manager talked to was Sierra or Ciara. Doordash still has yet to hear anything from corner bakery.
Spoke with the owner Peter. He refused to admit that we received poor customer service and refused to even show sympathy for the simple fact that his business messed up our order. It isn't such a big deal but the fact that we went through such a big ordeal to not even given respect from the owner is quite a turn off. Dont give this place your money. They don't care about you...
Read moreI don't have a good review for this place. And for the simple fact that I have been to this restaurant in Shorewood before, and often. I expected to have nothing short of a good experience. But, no. I ordered a simple panini sandwich and some water (in large cups), the employee suggested a regular size, but I told the (female) employee that I wanted the large and I'll pay for it. She gave me this look like you shouldn't have this one, but that's ok. I started to feel like this isn't going to be ok. Well about 15 minutes or more I'm waiting at the front of the register where I paid and watched three other customers come and go after they ordered. Finally another employee asked me, what I am waiting for? I answered sarcastically and said apparently nothing, because that's what I'm getting. And she looks at my receipt, then goes to find the female employee that took my order. She comes out from the back and looks through the computer and doesn't see that my order was ever put in. I said right away I want a refund. She apologized, but didn't explain why, didn't care about how frustrating it was to be waiting there, and didn't offer to make it right. That is not good manager or supervisor skills at all for a customer who has come there for the first time. This employee didn't care about the situation by any means. It was like, oh well, customers come, and customers go. Well, I hope someone teaches the staff there that if it wasn't for customers, there would be no business. I am not happy to say this, but I'm very ok to say I will NOT return to this...

I drive daily to work one hour ..and on my way from Sussex to kenosha where I work ! I stop by this specific bakery . Like their coffee and some times I would buy cake or muffin and breakfast !! Today I took my coffee and egg breakfast to go as usual!! Once I hit the highway drinking my coffee !! Feeling the coffee all over me .. .. as I just started eating my sandwich… Cut the story short .. their cup was one of the worst folded cups and not heat resistant!! I cold politely to let them know about the disaster in the car when I was wearing a white pants ready for a big presentation for my company.. their manger after she heard me she offered me a two dollar cup of coffee on my next visit .. with sorry . She said she is not authorised to give me dry cleaning .. the least they should of did to compromise the frustration of the situation!! Is give me coffee and breakfast for free and returned my money for the next visit .. Still not good for the whole situation today with my dirty pants .. attached is my pants pictures and how I saved the coffee not to pour all over the car .. I ended up with !!!
