Raja Bazaar | Zabiha Organic Meat & Grocery Store — Local services in Brookfield

I like the Raja Bazaar shop, but some items I would really avoid buying from this place. They offer many varieties of fish and meats, and some of them are good and fresh, but some are not so good. Yesterday, we bought some Red Snapper fish, and it was horrible. The smell was very fishy, and the texture of the fish was soft and mushy. Despite all my efforts to reduce the smell, and a big amount of spices, the dish came out bad, and smelly. Same happened two weeks ago, when we bought some King fish. It was not very fresh. So far, the only fish variety that is good at this place is a Pomfret fish (maybe it is due to popularity). I think that it is the time for this shop to change the fish vendor, or at least to warn people about not fresh state of the fish. It is really frustrating to spend almost 50$ for the fish, and not to be able...

Will never shop there. The owner is not a man of his words. Promised to deliver 55 packets of Aaloo Pronthas,( we needed to donate those for a cause) out of which he had 30 in stock… counted them before taking money from us. 25 were to be coming in a delivery that never showed up. So We were only left with 30 which supposedly he had in stock and when we got there to pick them up, he had apparently SOLD 11 of the 30 even after taking the money from us to OTHER customers. What kind of shop does that, after taking money for the stuff. Worst experience, will never recommend that place to anyone even if it is the last place to find Indian/ Pakistani grocery. Those guys have no Moral values. They left us stranded with 19 packets out of the 55 we had promised to Donate for a cause. Worst experience ever. Avoid this place...

I was in the store to buy meat but the owner second wife was suspiciously watching and listening the talk of myself with butcher. She was translating me in Urdu whatever the butcher was telling me in English. I told her couple times that I am talking to him and I do understand the English. But she was standing in our head and don't want to move. If we are spending the money than we have all the rights to talk to butcher, make him cut the meat according to our taste. She has no rights to stand and keep an eye to customer. This is worst and bad customer service. Customer needs to move freely in the store and don't need to watch by the horrified women. Instead of appreciating by getting the business. that women makes the trip so uncomfortable and unacceptable. Left the store without buying anything. Worst...
