this place is very unlawful, they charge people with little to no evidence on SERIOUS crimes. lawyers are friends with the judges so it’s not like you’d get any sort of help from a court appointed lawyer (then you’ll get a magical $1,000 added to your fines for that lawyer for no reason), so much for a so called free court appointed lawyer. they’ll lie about times, dates, etc. on the discovery packets they hand out to the defendant just to get a paycheck & they do not care about what they are doing to peoples daily lives. even if the person states over and over again that everything they’re charging them with is wrong they’ll look no further or even care about what they’re saying and charge them anyways without even looking into it. it’s heartbreaking. courts are not supposed to be like this at all. unlawful is the opposite of what...

Those convicted of SERIOUS crimes in williams county are usually given chances to turn their life around.

I know this from experience.

This is a courtroom not a kindergarten class.
