Cozmic Candy used to be Oh How Sweet it Is in Cheswick. I never got to go to the Cheswick location, so I felt very lucky wandering into Cozmic Candy only to find out it was the same place with a different name!
I had a really great time wandering around looking at the variety of rare and common candies both from the US and from other countries. I bought a honey candy bar from Australia that I've never had and am excited to try!
Their selection of gummy candies is truly second to none in our area. They also have a fun collection of Jelly Belly! We found Creme Savers which we thought were out of production and more Reese's candies than I knew existed.
Even more impressive is Cozmic Candy's made-in-store freeze dried candy. They take the candy you know and love and put them in their top of the line freeze dryers. The result is candy transformed in shape, in texture, and in experience. Freeze dried Skittles, anyone?
My favourite part of the store's selection is the ice cream. I can easily say it's the best ice cream I've had in my entire life. Top of the line quality ice cream that is generous with the ingredients. I took home a pint and I know I'll be back for more. Maybe next time I'll grab a cone! The summer season will bring with it more available flavours, and I can't wait to try them all.
If anyone wants a fun photo-op for their Insta, the walls of the store are perfect. The galaxy themed decor is perfect for posing with your friends, your kids, or by yourself.
Just keep in mind this is a move in progress and the owner is doing much of the remodel himself, so things are not quite finished, but they're getting there. Looking forward to how things turn out. Definitely cheering on this mom and pop shop.

Read moreVisited today for the first time as someone told me they sell freeze dried snacks. The store was very neat and clean. service was okay. as for the freeze dried candies. I purchased the skittles. these have to be the most expensive I have ever bought for the amount you recieve in the bag. $5 for less skittles than what comes in a regular bag of skittles for $2-$3. For $5 at 5below you get probably 3 to 4 times as many candies. local gas stations are selling 3 to 4 oz bags for $7. I will say they were perfectly freeze dried and tasted delicious but I'll never purchase them there again at that price which is disappointing because I'd rather support a small candy shop than a big retailer. but not for that price. Hopefully they realize this and either lower the price or increase the amount in the bag. it would also be nice to have the weight listed on the bag as other brands do so u know how much your getting for the price. everything else seemed reasonably priced... from what else I purchased so hope they...
