From a consignors perspective this is a wonderful business to work with. We had to liquidate my mothers estate and all of us lived out of town. It’s a difficult thing when you love and respect your mother’s furniture and you want it to go to a reputable business where it will be treated and sold with care. In addition we had to do this all through email and photos and phone calls. I felt Michael treated us with great respect. Every year my family and I attend the Hertel trick or treating event on Hertel. Usually they shut down that part of the street to traffic so that families can safely enjoy trick or treating for 2 hours. I heard today that Hertel Home Consignment started a petition to keep traffic going on the street because they feared they would lose business. Pretty sickening that they care more about having cars flying down hertel than the safety of families for a mere 2 hours. Never again will I go to this place or any of the other businesses that joined this petition. They should be ashamed...

I came into the store today looking for some end tables. Unfortunately, the staff were not adhering to the mask mandate. One staff member approached me with her mask hanging around her ear. She only wore it when I asked her to, and quickly took it off before speaking with another customer. Another staff member was seen without a mask at all.
