Power 106 Radio — Local services in Burbank

I've always had high expectations of Power 106 but yesterday i was very disappointed. On their station they are always saying to be caller 106 to win tickets and this time they were giving away BET Experience tickets so i figured I'd try. I called in around 10:30am and i got through and was told i was caller 106. The lady asked me what tickets i was calling in for and my name. She had a hard time understanding what my name was so i even spelled it out for her. She then told me she was going to put me on a brief hold and get me in so i waited. She then came back to the line to tell "sorry we chose another winner and gave the tickets to them. Someone that sounded like they were more excited. Feel free to call back next hour" i was in complete shock. Power 106 always promotes on the radio to be caller 106 to win the various prices but its apparent they pick and choose who the winners are depending on "how excited" they sound unless there is more than one caller 106. I was very let down by this station and never experienced anything like this. So much i felt this review was necessary so others can come up if they experienced the same thing. Going forward i hope no one else has to go through disappointment of their favorite...

This is by far the worst hip hop radio station in the country!! Like WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO POWER 106!!?? Like are you kidding me? What kind of a bullcrap of a radio station is this? Whoever is managing this radio station, you really need to like quit or retire or something cause you’re doing a horrible job at it. I don’t get how KLOS is more higher then you guys when owed by the same company? $82.75 million dollars down the drain & this radio station is not even worth a million. You’ll be lucky if you get $200 for it. 😂 just sign off the air & give LA something new. Straight boredom! Never thought a radio station be so boring. I drove to this building for another reason. Floor #5. But for those who have an appointment at this building, regardless what floor your going to visit, Let me tell you 2 things. #1 You have to wait for the elevator man to assist you. He will be asking you who you are going to see. Then, you get access to the elevator. Before leaving, dont forget to get your parking validated. #2 There is a guy across the parking lot that sales fruit cocktails (Mex style).
