On a recent birthday trip to Athens, Greece, my spouse bought me a pair of gold earrings that I loved. Unfortunately, after a few days one of them would not close and I couldn't wear it. As soon as we returned, I went to Shammas, hoping they could fix it. David was very friendly and honest, and told me that the fix would require use of a laser since the earring was so delicate. To my dismay, it would cost as much as the price of the earrings.

David thought about it and told me "I'll take the risk," and proceeded to use his electronic magnifier to carefully file the part that was stuck. To my delight, I heard the "click" of the earring clasp moving into place. With relief I asked David what the fee was and he said "no charge!" The link on the watch my late father gave my mother broke while she was visiting me. It turns out the store in NC that took out the link damaged it. The wonderful people at Shammas jewelers tried everything they could to replace/fix the damaged pin in the link. One of their clients even brought a link from their watch at home (they happened to be in the store at the time and dove home and back with it). Eventually they were able to repair the band- making my grieving mother very grateful for such kind and compassionate people. I am now a customer for life. Thank you again...

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and felt incredibly welcomed. They were very kind and considerate as well as took the time to listen to my needs and generously fixed my bracelet for no price to me!
