Update: the manager reached out to me two days after writing this. He apologized, as he was out of town when this happened. Ok....then he said this is not the treatment that he expects anyone in his restuarant to receive, and he offered me to come in again and let him make it up to us. Well...when I replied that I dont live in the area and that I didnt know if I would be abke to come back....guess who went ghost. No word. No reply. Nothing. I'm so glad you were so sorry. But he did reassure me that the bugs were going to be taken care of. Lets hope so for anyone else who decides to go here!! I will never and I mean never go to another glory days again. Their customer service is just as bad as their policies and atmosphere.
It was bad enough that my family of 5 was charged for 8 drinks because they switched what they were drinking....but then my children came out of the bathroom screaming there were bugs. My husband went to investigate and there were multiple roaches in the mens bathroom.
It started by waiting for 15 minutes to be acknowledged. After ordering, we were told that they did not have what we ordered....but again, that took 25 minutes for them to figure out. Then another 15 minutes later, it turns out they had it after all. So this is close to one hour of us being there. Empty cups, no refills and finally, out comes our food, an hour after we ordered. Again, no refills until being prompted.
Then, the bathroom incident happened...
Again, I asked for my check after sitting there another 20-30 minutes and realized not only am I being charged for additional drinks, but that I am being told that it is the policy to charge for each drink. I was charged for adult sized soft drinks. 5 of them. It was two adults and 3 children....we started out with 3 childrens sprites and 1 adult Sprite and 1 adult coke....then 2 of my children decided they wanted the shark attacks. Ok that's fine. I knew that would be more expensive but, to have to pay for two drinks? Is that for real? My husband then also switched from the Sprite to sweet tea and again, I was told that we had to pay for a soft drink and a sweet tea because they were different drinks.
So, I asked to speak to a manager... the manager couldn't be bothered. He/she took two of the drinks off for the kids shark attacks is what I was told. At this point I was disgusted and wanted to leave. I paid my bill.
I had to then walk up to the hostess to ask for a box because no one would come back up the table, after asking our waitress 3 times for a box. That was another 10 minute wait.
That is not the way I would want to treat my customers. But most importantly, the health department should be called for the infestation of roaches in the...
Read moreAt first it wasn't bad. Our waitress Emily V. had a tad of an attitude which I figured was because she had a bad day or something. However the entire time she was so unpleasant, not friendly at all. I ordered my food 5 minutes after my group did and I got my food 15 minutes after they finished their food. Seeing as how I've worked for glory days (not this location) I know how the Chicken ranchero wrap is made.. it takes about 2 minutes. Everything is already pre chopped, including chicken.. it comes cold. When we asked Emily about my food she said well you did order it after everyone else. She didn't refill our drinks and we had to ask her for more drinks, she seemed annoyed at this. She brought out my chicken wrap, it tasted pretty good. Half way through one half of my wrap I swallowed something that wouldn't go down. It was a hair!!! I pulled it out of my mouth and put it on the plate. The root was grey and the rest was black ( I have brown hair) Needless to say I didn't eat the rest of my food. The rest of my party was still working on a plate of fries, they got to the bottom of the plate and there was 2 hairs! Both the same color as the one in my wrap. Waited for our server and she was no where to be seen. Finally asked another server to get the manager. The manager came out and apologized for the hair and said he was going to take the wrap off of the check. And that he also was going back to check to make sure the cooks had their hair nets on... WHAT!? To check? I'm sorry but he should have already knew without a doubt they had them on! Emily V. still no where to be found. The manager brought the check out and had taken off the wrap, fries and an extra 10. Looked for our waitress to give her our card.. still didn't see her. Eventually went up to the entrance to the kitchen when some guy came out and said oh I was coming to get it from you. Gave it to him and went to sit back down. When he came back out he placed it on the table, making no eye contact, didn't say a word and walked away. Read moreUnprofessional and I’ll NOT going again. Went there for a first time and wanted to order for takeout. I checked the online menu before I get in so I can be ready to order and lose no time because I was so hungry. I choose to order double hero cheeseburger which was 15.49$ at their website menu and it’s with fries and everything and it’s seems like I can order it without problem but then I go inside to order for takeout and saw a waiter and I waited to give my order but before I even finish my first word out of no where waiter asked me “what’s the name” like I’m there for pick up order for someone else and I was like what name I didn’t even ordered yet. It was rude and she didn’t even say sorry but I didn’t stay on it and ordered my burger. I said I’ll be back and pay when it’s ready. After while I came back to pay and pick it up but she asked me “what’s the name” question again but not even realizing that I placed an order 10 minutes ago and she had same attitude. She didn’t even mention it like I didn’t understanding what is going on I think she though I’m stupid and couldn’t be able to understand what’s going on. I didn’t said nothing because I felt like I wasted too much energy and time just to get a cheeseburger. So I wanted to pay and leave but she said total is 20$ something. I asked her why the price is different from online menu while showing her the menu at the same time. But she told me it’s for single cheeseburger even though we both can see the name of the burger is “Double” also with the price tag around 15$. When that didn’t work on me she told me “it’s for only some other special day of the week and it’s not today”. I told her I could have just be ordered online when I’m outside and be paying 5$ less. She confused and didn’t know what to say about it but I said I’m going to order it online with less price. Nobody no manager or something didn’t even showed up to fix the issue or at least say sorry.
