I was really excited when me and my family joined this location. The facility was very clean and spacious and the staff somehow friendly, the trainers not so much. My biggest complain is regarding the unfair membership cancellation process. We are a military family so when I got my membership I asked what would be the process in case we had to move, the person who I spoke to, told me to just bring a copy of my husband’s military orders and tell them that we were moving. Well, we moved to overseas about a month ago and right before our move I stopped by the gym with my husband’s military orders in hand to notify them about the move and that I needed to cancel my membership. The young guy at the front desk handed me a card to membership service telling me to contact them. Fast forward, after all of the chaos of the move to another country, I finally found the card and sent membership service an email explaining my situation with the copy of our orders and a photo of my flight ticket attached to prove that we had left the country in mid June, and I asked for a refund for the month of July since they charged me and wouldn’t accept my cancellation request when I went in person. Cherie from membership services never responded to my request for a refund and completely ignored my email. Funny how when I walked into the gym wanting to join it everyone was so friendly and helpful, but when I wanted to cancel the membership nobody wanted to deal with me and just handed me a card to deal with it via email. Very disappointed by the way they treated my case, they don’t care about military families unless when they are trying to get them to join the gym. I hope you guys can change the cancellation policy and can become a little bit more accommodating towards military families. I always left good reviews on the dozens of surveys you guys kept sending me so I am very upset by this treatment. I hope you can reconsider my case and that I can receive my refund and if not, I will probably not join your gym again after we return to the area in a few years nor will recommend your gym to other military families. Read moreI was on the stairmaster when I noticed a guy taking a picture of me. I confirmed this as he walked in front of the machine I was on where I was able to see that he had the camera opened on his phone. He continued to go around looking for other girls to take pictures of and that is when I decided to approach one of the trainers that was right next to the stairmaster machines. I informed him of what had just happened and pointed out who the guy taking the pictures was. That is when I noticed that the the guy was now near two girls who were both bent over doing different exercises on the cable machines. The gym trainer proceed to tell me he will talk to management but all he did was go stand near the guy and looked to see if he took pictures again. As I continued my workout doing abs at the mats, I noticed the guy who took the picture of me had followed me and when he saw me starting at him he pretended to look out the window that was right next to me. After that happened I decided to end my workout and head home because I did not feel comfortable there. Before leaving the gym I spoke with the women at the front desk and she called the manager over. The manager hesitantly came as he mentioned he was busy and a lady was waiting to speak with him. The front desk lady mentioned that this was important and concerning which got the managers attention for about 2 minutes. We were able to describe what had happened and I mentioned that I was able to take a picture of the guy in case they asked me and he wasn’t in sight. The manager proceeded to question how I knew he took a picture of me and said he would speak to him. Then before we could say anything else he went over to the lady who was waiting to speak with him. This is not the first time this guy has taken pictures of girls as he did the same to my sister and cousin who are also members there. I think it is extremely unprofessional how the manager and trainer “handled” this situation as many of the girls who go to the gym around that time are high schoolers and this makes it an extremely uncomfortable...

They don’t maintain the basketball court. Musty, poor circulation, court is covered in sweat by the end of the day, resulting in a lot of injuries. In my one week of membership I’ve seen a lot of bad slips and falls, people walking off the court due to hard hits to the knees and tailbone… My second day there, we all agreed to stop playing because people kept falling and injuring themselves, and we were too scared to even run at that point. We kept towels at each end of the court to mop things down but without proper ventilation and court maintenance, there’s very little that we can do. The fact that we have to take it upon ourselves to mop the floors with towels every few possessions is an indictment against management. Leaving the basketball court feels like you’re stepping outside into fresh air.
Things I would like to see implemented:
(1) Lowered temperature, ideally 70-71 degrees Fahrenheit. We are running hard at full speed, nonstop, and we are all drenched in sweat. The court should be cooler than the general facilities by a few degrees, and not feel like a sauna after a few games.
(2) Proper ventilation to address buildup of sweat, BO, and moisture especially on the court. The number of injuries, disruptions, and instances of redoing possessions is currently unacceptable.
(3) A dust mop in the corner to sweep the court. The mop should be cleaned by staff at the end/beginning of each day.
Should conditions ever improve I will happily edit my review. Until then, feel free to assume...
