Tommy's Mini Mart — Local services in Burlington

4-22-2020 4:00pm Dropped to one Star. Gave Tommy's another try. They had cashier behind tacky plastic and had black plastic down at counter to place your purchase on due to COVID-19. The whole set-up looked extremely tacky. I made my purchase, layed my black leather wallet down on the black plastic, got out $20 to pay and placed my $15 back in my wallet. Without me noticing the slender Man behind me took my wallet. Lost $250, my driver's license, ATM card and other cards. The cashier called her boss and no one would come in to look at the camera footage. Because they were so unwilling to help me out that's my final visit. It's a bad area and unsafe. I personally don't recommend it.

3-2020 Went back into Tommy's and it looked much better than my previous visits. Hope it stays that way. There was only myself and one other customer talking with cashier which made the store feel larger. Store is too small for "my" liking but may be just your type of small Mart. Has 3 isles that makes "me" feel claustrophobic when other customers are on the same isle. With only 2 gas pumps that are angled in a way that customers can block you in or out depending on what the customer is driving or the way the customer parks. Parking is extremely limited and can be difficult to get in/out. Mini Mart sits on a corner at a intersection with stop lights. The drives get blocked depending on the traffic. Store stays busy and it may be just the type of Mini Mini Mart you like. It's like a...
