This is the place for you. This is our second year at AFAA and we can’t say enough good things about it. Their hands-on visual arts programs are fantastic. Our kids got to experience a myriad of art types (clays, acrylics, watercolors, pencils, etc) while also actually LEARNING art history/appreciation. Education and instruction to hone their skill—this is not just a “baby-sitting” art course—the kids come away with knowledge and improved abilities. And AFAA’s theatre program is seriously one of the best around. A wholesome environment along with good relationships and solid, integrity-filled teaching is what you’ll experience. The selections for performance are classic and fun. The skills of the staff are exceptional. The programs are not just fun (and they are definitely that!) but also character-building. As a Christian parent, my favorite part of AFAA is that the staff loves Jesus too and it shows—I always feel good know my child is with people who know the importance of Christ in our everyday lives. We love AFAA!!! Our 15 year old daughter has been dancing here for several years. I love that she is in a safe, loving, faith based environment. She has been able to make wonderful friendships and has amazing role models as teachers and mentors. She has been able to apprentice (teach) with some of the younger classes, such a great growing and learning opportunity for her!
