This company has been awful to deal with. Wires behind my stove were melted because the company I purchased it from put the power cord on wrong. As if that weren’t scary and frustrating enough, thanks to G&R, I was without a stove for ONE WHOLE MONTH! They called and scheduled an appointment with me for between 9am and 1pm. At 10:30am, they called to cancel because the tech was “sick”. I rescheduled for another day. They came and said they had to order parts so couldn’t fix anything until then. I never received a call... I then called to ask when the parts would be in and woman on the phone told me and then scheduled an appointment for between 9am and 1pm. Well, the just DIDNT SHOW UP! I wasted my whole morning waiting and they didn’t show up. I called and complained and the man was so rude and told me I definitely didn’t talk to anyone and never scheduled an appointment. After an entire day of calling them and speaking to many different people and trying to get my stove fixed, they “were too busy to fit me in” so I waited even longer. Read moreG and R was contracted out by fridgedair warranty for the repair of our fridge when it stopped cooling. They sent a tech out the first time and he “adjusted” the door for a proper seal, which didn’t fix the issue. They then sent out another tech who found the compressor and the fan to be the issue. Afterwards they sent a tech AGAIN to re confirm what the last tech had already diagnosed. At this point 3 weeks without a fridge or freezer. Called fridgedair only to find out G and R had only submitted one of the three service calls and failed to submit my warranty claim and is blaming fridgedair for not accepting the warranty claim. The unit is well within warranty and is only 2 months old. Called to talk to the man at the front desk of G and R and was met with a condescending attitude, and all they tell me to do is call fridgedair again. I explained to fridgedair the issue with G and R and they agreed to send out a different company. Now I’m over a month without a fridge and freezer. Read morePurchased a Whirlpool dishwasher a year ago from Lowe's... Plastic wheel on top rack broke. I had purchased the extended warranty so I called the 800 # that Lowe's provided for the repair. I received a call from G&R appliance and they promptly set up a repair under warranty. I was to meet the repair tech. from G&R at my house between 1 and 4 p.m.. Tech. called the wrong # to confirm and said he left a message I never received. G&R called again and we setup a Sat. appt. for the second try between 8 a.m. and noon. Tech. pulled in our driveway at 12:40 p.m. like nothing was wrong (never called). We were headed out the door. 3rd try was yesterday 2/24/18 between 9- 1p.m. received phone call from G&R at 12:30 saying tech. was running late and he would be here around 2 p.m. . Needless to say we wasted another Saturday waiting. Best of all G&R wanted the make and model w/ the serial number so they could say they repaired it. G&R has terrible service.
