Another business taking advantage of people during this tough time. I had called about 30 different stores searching for a deep freeze, as was everyone else apparently. I was so relieved to find that when I called Leneve's on Wednesday, he had one last freezer in stock. He stated that it was an 18 cu. ft. and gave me the price! I was on the hunt for a 14 or 15 cu. ft., so I told him it was a little larger than I needed and about $200 more expensive, but I had run out of options and was just thankful we had found one. I told him we'd be there first thing Thursday to get it and he said he didn't need payment over the phone that he would just hold it for us. My husband and I got up early the next day and made the three hour drive to Butler to pick it up. Upon getting there we payed him and then discovered the freezer he had actually just sold us was a 14.8 cu. ft. freezer. He said he didn't have any 18 cu. ft. and that the price stood. After driving 3 hours, writing him a check, loading the freezer and trying to explain to him that the price surely couldn't be right for the smaller size, we gave up and will now just have to live with the fact that we were amongst the many that have been taken advantage of by price gauging during...

For $15 he just lost my business. After buying two dryers and a washer a few months back I thought he would have been a little more appreciative. I needed a drain hose for a washer. He has a back room with used parts and I was able to find one that worked. I thought he was going to let me just have it but I was wrong. I offered a couple bucks but he said $15.
