I purchased a salvage title 2018 subaru outback last october and have nothing but good things to say about Niewiek! My husband and I came out to look at a different car but it was already sold (they move quick!!) but Joe was happy to show us what else he currently had. He was incredibly upfront about the damage that had been done to the car, showing us the carfax and explaining what repairs had been done. He let us test drive immediately and was happy to answer any questions we had. He was also very knowledgeable about possible financing from various banks/credit unions in the area. We ended up buying the car on site and because all of the checks (brakes, fluids, etc.) hadn’t been done yet, Joe told us to go ahead and take the car for the weekend and then bring it back the following wednesday to check it all out. He said that he thought just the back brakes would need to be replaced and that it would be included. When we took it back, he checked everything out and ended up replacing all 4 brake pads for no extra charge. He was incredibly honest about everything. It’s sad to see some of the other reviews on here, because while some people say that Joe is rude/not helpful, I just found him to be incredibly honest and businesslike (apparently some people can’t handle that?). And as far as price, I thought it was INCREDIBLY fair pricing in the current market. It is typical for salvage titles to be 15-20% than the exact same car WITHOUT a salvage title, and our car was right on that 20% mark, even with aftermark wheels, lift, etc. additionally, about a week later we had some issues with the battery and we called him and he told us to bring it in, no problem. He fixed the issue and assured us to reach out if we needed absolutely anything. This was so reassuring. We’ve now had our car for about a year and it’s been incredible. Definitely going to be seeking out Niewiek for when our other car needs to be replaced! I've purchased a new WRX from the Subaru dealership before, and now I've had the chance to buy a great used one from Niewiek. I'll be coming back to Niewiek for my next car, I had a great first experience there recently. I had a great experience with Joe, as others have said, but I'll point out here that I had a great experience with everyone there!

Full disclosure, the morning after I bought the car, I had a small issue with it. It ended up being an injector (not a huge deal but still), and let me tell you Joe took care of it, no questions, no nothing. This guy even took texts from me on a holiday weekend, no joke! I had to wait a sec for the part to come in, but again, no biggy. Also, I hit a pothole (my problem, obviously) and had a wheel bearing start to make some noise. I get it, it's the Michigan road tax, lol. Having said that, I asked Joe about having the work done there and he gave me an amazing price on a wheel bearing, installed, so I just asked him to do it at the same time as the injector.

I'm telling this, because when a small issue occured, it really gave them an opportunity to show me who they were, and I saw it, make no mistake about that. Thanks fellas, Joe, Mike, Bob, I'll be back for...

We had a great experience with Joe and Nick of Niewiek Auto Sales! Recommended to us by D&L Auto Sales when we needed the transmission on our 1992 Chevy G30/Coachman Motorhome checked out. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Nick rode with us in our van and was able to diagnose the issue in a matter of minutes. Joe took time out of his busy schedule to talk with us and work out time to have our van worked on since we were scheduled to leave on a year-long trip that week. Along with being well-informed, they were able to explain what was happening in terms we could understand and their pricing was very fair. Even when we called back 6 weeks later with a few more detailed questions, they were able to talk us through everything.
