Sweet Rewards Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Byron Township

My family and I have been here multiple times throughout the years and today was a horrible experience. My child normally get the Oreo blizzard and today was no different, however it was Reese’s peanut mixed in the middle and my child has a peanut allergy. I called them immediately when my child’s throat was swelling up en route to the ER to warn them of the cross contamination and was immediately blamed for not letting them know of his allergy and was told in a rude manner that they are not at fault. At the moment all I could do was hang up. To say I am pissed off is an understatement! I was calling to warn them about what happened and was immediately confronted with rudeness and they had the audacity to blame ME! I will NEVER come back to that establishment and I highly recommend if you have a child with any food allergy that you should just drive by and find another place to go to. Those employees are rude and negligent. DO BETTER! And yes, management will hear directly...

Big time fan of this place! We had our eye on a different place originally because I read that they had vegan soft serve. It's been years since I've had soft serve and that sounded amazing. Unfortunately, we had too much fun that day and didn't get around to ice cream until later and they were closed.

Before we left the go cart track we were at I did a quick search to see what was open. I called Sweet Rewards, which was close, and they had vegan ice cream and surprisingly it was soft serve too! They closed late too so we headed that way.

My wife and I ordered the mixer (not sure what they called it but basically a Blizzard). We went with Oreo. Kids had regular ice cream that they liked. The vegan stuff we got was excellent! Anyone sear searching for vegan soft serve needs to check...

They have lots of tables and chairs and picnic tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream. I like that the prices already include tax. I don't care for the fact they don't have frozen yogurt. They have dole whip. It's horrible. It's like chalk and has an aftertaste. One day I asked for a shake without dairy. I got so sick!! If you use a credit card, you will be charged 49 cents extra. They usually stay open until 10:30 which I liked because some people get out of work or activities later. But now they close at 10 suddenly. I was to meet a friend there. I told him it was open until 10:30, because it was just a couple days prior. We got there just after they closed. Check Google daily for hours before...
