I purchased a couch with a floating chaise that I was in love with! It was my first major furniture purchase and I paid extra for the color I wanted. It's easy to say I was excited about it! Dawn was a great sales person and it even arrived early admist shipping delays everywhere.
Unfortunately that is where the excitement ends. I elected to pick up myself to save cost. After getting it back to Saginaw and unpackaging it I discovered a tear in the fabric and nails/staples coming up. We had carefully unpackaged it to find it was damaged before even getting it off the truck! :( as it was already so late we brought it inside where I immediately contacted the store to report my issue. I was I informed the manager would call me the next day. That phone call was very disappointing and showed a lack of customer service or even stand by their items. I was informed I could bring it back from Saginaw to Owosso at a my own cost for a refund or receive a small credit. I already had paid for my own delivery as it was cost effective. Now due to a receiving a damaged product I was to incure more expense?! The justification was that the damages were basically caused by me.
Why after being so excited, sharing my excitement with everyone who was happy for me, arranging delivery would I have damaged my own furniture? How am I being penalized for the product being damaged before being packaged or after? I received a product that was supposed to bring me such joy with a truly disheartening customer service experience. Read moreMy husband and I stopped in just to look at king beds one afternoon just to kill time. We did speak with Dawn briefly but didn't purchase anything. We went back a few weeks later and worked with Hayley which was an AMAZING experience. She was friendly, experienced, professional and very honest about everything we were interested in. She never tried selling us the high end mattresses like our previous experience. We spent literally 2 hours or more with Hayley learning all the ins and outs of mattresses. (She never once seemed annoyed or frustrated with us.) With Hayley's help, we finally decided on a mattress! When we went back we liked Hayley so much we decided to purchase a dining room table from her as well. Only two negative things I can say is both our table and mattress base was damaged when they received it at the store so we had to wait a couple more days. The other is, I notice FOUR different sales people on our receipt. We truly worked with only ONE and that was Hayley. Apparently they must document every sales person you talk to over many years! I sure hope they don't have to split commission with each other. If so, that doesn't seem fair that someone from over 2 years ago gets credit for something you bought today. Your employees don't own me and all my sales for the future. Bottom line... HAYLEY...

They ensured we had all the information we needed before we stepped foot in the store.
When we arrived to pick up the mattress, every employee we interacted with was friendly and professional. There was a minor mix-up: What was supposed to be a mattress-in-a-box turned out not to be, but the team acted quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue, ensuring we had our mattress in time for Christmas.
A special thanks to Kevin and Tommy, who informed us about delivery every step of the way with clear and honest communication. When they delivered the mattress to our home, they treated our space respectfully, as if it were theirs. On top of that, they even took the time to fix a jammed door for us while they were here, truly going above and beyond.
