Harbor Freight — Local services in Caledonia Charter Township

Quality of the merchandise just keeps getting better. The store is clean and well organized. The selection is impressive. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. Recently I was very pleased to learn a large item which was shown as special order on the website was actually in stock ready to go in the store. Took it home that day when I expected to have to wait a couple of weeks.

The Owosso location is top notch and the mgmt should be proud of this one. This store brings the once sketchy HF into the top tier equal to any other big-box.

Yes, some items are clearly built to a price, but most of it represents not only fantastic value but actually is objectively better than the versions sold elsewhere for higher prices. Harbor freight is killing it as a "disruptor' exposing the gross overpricing by big established names that have off-shored their production. If I'm going to buy Chinese tools, I might as well get them from HF because I know the quality will be better and the price lower than the similar item sold elsewhere. They are doing a darn good job keeping overhead down and service up, unlike certain tool-truck outfits that need gigantic mark-up to cover the cost of fancy trucks, expensive sponsorships and inefficient organizational structures. People used to laugh at a HF brand on a toolbox. Now I laugh at suckers who overpaid and got less buying...

I walked I to the Owosso Michigan location to purchase some items. Piston ring compressor Mechanic picks 1/4 drive torque wrench Feeler gauges Misc items I was there just shy of an hour. The employees went out of there way to try and keep an eye on me and my son but never asked if I needed any help. When I walked up to check out the first words out of the woman's mouth was well you have been here for awhile. I said yep.... maybe it would have been a shorter visit if the people following me around asked me if I needed help finding anything. As I walked out after my purchase I said maybe you should post time limits on the doors if you don't want people looking around. I wont be back to...

My local Harbor Freight is virtually empty. Not their fault, what with the virus & everything going on. But I needed a new floor jack and some tools and they didn't have any. Literally not one jack in the store. So I called around, this one said they had plenty of jacks, so I made the hour & a half drive. They weren't lying, they had every model of jack in stock and lots of colors too. A huge store, well stocked & very clean. Nice people. You can use their coupons right from your phone too, I saved just over a hundred bucks on my purchase!!! Get the HF Coupon app from the app store for the very best coupon deals. Would recommend...
