Okay so me and my wife went in to eat we have been many times before and always had great food . This time we ordered a "the beast" . a five egg omelette 3 meats hash browns inside and covered in gravy. We ordered hashbrowns on the side and deep fried so they would be crunchy . See my.picture you'll notice no gravy as it came about 10 minutes after the food on the side as well. So okay no biggie food tastes good and I am loving it i got about 2/3s through and as i am.chewing a very long blond hair was in my mouth and food I pulled it out of my mouth🤢🤢and stopped the nearest waitress told her she seen it was long and blond and i have short brown hair and my wife has shoulder length brown hair.... i did drop the hair on the floor i was just disgusted and wanted to get it out of my hand she took the rest of my food away and to the kitchen . Then our waitress comes out apologizes asks if I wanted anything else to eat no i.did not after that ... she then says she can comp. My wife's coffee which is about $2 But I would still have to pay $9 For food i couldn't even finish. So we said no we weren't paying for it spoke with a manager she did comp my food but not before grilling us on where a blond hair could have came from since they don't have any blondes that work that. ( our waitress was blond and so was 2 others) she said it couldn't have came from them since the cooks are bald .... I mean come on look at the cameras and see I pulled it out of my mouth . So I was happy it was comped but to keep questioning us where it came from was very unprofessional in my opinion. I will come back and eat again as everyone makes mistakes and that was the very first time I have ever had a problem like this and always loved the food...
Read moreOrdered a soup, salad and pop for lunch, paid $22. Prices online are not accurate and are cheaper than what I was charged. No take out menu in the restaurant. Went inside, cute atmosphere, but no main ordering/pay counter, so I awkwardly stood there being stared at while diners ate. Salad was $12.99 and not very good. I had a large end cap of a pepper in my salad, veggies were big chunks. That's fine, I'll cut it up. But nope, I was only given a spork to eat soup and salad with. Not easy eating salad with a spork. Chicken was way over seasoned. The French onion soup, $5.99, was my lunches saving grace! It was delicious! Very cheesy. Fountain pop was kind of small for the price $2-$3. Waitress was nice. I've been wanting to try this place for months since it's so close to my work, but I was left feeling disappointed. Probably...
Read moreCame in with the girlfriend, figured hey Coney island let's get Coney dogs. Was probably the worst tasting Coney sauce I've ever had. It was basically unseasoned ground beef on a dog. Needless to say we ended up scraping off the hamburger they call Coney sauce and ended up smothering it in ketchup to try and alleviate the awful taste of their version of what coney sauce was. Recieved bill before we were done (trying) to eat some of what we paid for, when we has our eye on desert but nevermind I guess? Customers behind us also had their dish (fish) sent back as the waitress came and said sorry our fish batter was made yesterday by someone that didn't usually do it.. turned me off completely wondering what all they make days in advance to...
