ALDI — Local services in Caledonia Charter Township

Produce isn't very good compared to many other Aldis I've been to, not sure why. Prices have risen so much they are about the same as local area full service grocery stores. Their milk, eggs, cheese etc used to be great prices. Now I've seen them priced higher than ANY of the area stores. Every.Single.Time I've been there the lines are ridiculous. I've never seen more than 2 people working the registers when there are 4 registers. What's absolutely absurd is in high-end areas of the state the prices are cheaper than this store and the produce & other fresh food is better! The only reason why I do continue shopping there is because of the few rare items I can't get elsewhere. Their "theme" of pay a returnable quarter for your grocery cart & low staffing to enable low prices is FAILING! I will say the very FEW staff they have are very kind & friendly but it's blatantly obvious they...

Its a alright store. I have been to better Aldi's. This one was rather lacking on food items. What they have alot of is other stuff like soaps and other things. The food prices are alright but there's not much. During my current visit I found many food items I wanted to buy that had no price tags anywhere. I understand that with this store there's already I limited amount of things they sell. But atleast price everything. Everything was also weirdly placed all the food and everything isn't all in one spot. On top of everything I was almost ran over 2 times by a employee who didn't care if I was in her way or not and just about hit me with heavy machinery this morning. So not very happy. Isn't my local Aldi, but I visit it when in Owosso. I love it as I do all Aldis. Produce is always fresh and they usually have what i need and many surprises I didn't know I needed. Fun to check out their changing home goods. My favorite part is their efficient size -- unlike the huge box grocery stores where I plan at least an hour of my day to walk the long aisles and cross their huge stores for only a few things, Aldis modest size and easy in and out (including their parking lot) allows me to pop in and shop in as little as 10 minutes, yet they have a huge assortment of items.
