When we built our house, they put the usual closet maid type wire rack shelving. I wanted to upgrade to the wood organizers, but it was expensive and they said I already had too many upgrades and the house would cost more than it was worth (which means to ME that they were overcharging me for things, but that's a whole other review!) So for two years, I have HATED my fairly small walk in closet. It just looked junky. I had checked into ways to get the wood organizers. Lowe's stuff just didn't fit correctly, which kind of stunk because my husband is capable of installing. We looked at ordering custom cut items. I also called some places who just didn't bother to return my call. I got internet quotes of around $3000. One of my neighbors recommended Robert with A Better Closet. I called and got an appointment quickly. He explained everything and discussed the differences between what he and others offered. He did a very thorough, yet concise presentation. He drew up a recommended design and sought my input to ensure it met my needs. The installation went smoothly. I LOVE my new closet. Robert delivered what he promised. He really cares about customer service and wants to ensure you are completely satisfied. Update August 2021: Just had A Better Closet come back to add cabinets and shelving to our laundry room...wow...we absolutely love it! Shannon & Bobby were wonderful to work with and we will use them again for sure. I've already recommended them to a neighbor and they're about to have a closet re-organized into an office. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

(2016)What a joy it was to have the knowledgeable professionals at A Better Closet come out to our home, look at our master closet (only the plastic/wire hanging poles), design a workable closet for us including a dressing table/drawer, and build it for us a few weeks later. It looks great but better yet, has helped us have a place to hang both my husband's and my clothes, with lots of cubes & shelves to put pajamas, underwear, purses, etc.

A couple of weeks ago, my clothes and the racks in the closet got into a disagreement and the clothes and shoes won! When I looked in the closet the rack said it had enough.

I spoke to my sister and cousin and they recommended Closets By Design. I got an estimate but after signing the contract something didn’t sit right with me and the next day I cancelled with CBD and called A Better Closet and it was the BEST DECISION! Robert came out and gave me an estimate that was significantly lower and my design had more options.
