Miller Bean Ice Cream — Local services in Calumet Township

I recently had the pleasure of trying Miller Bean Ice Cream, and I must say, the experience was good! The variety of flavor choices, while impressive, is somewhat limited. However, the options that are available sound great—there's something for everyone here.

The texture of the ice cream definitely gives off a homemade vibe, which I appreciated. However, I was a bit surprised to find the ice cream served in plastic cups with stickers attached. While it may not seem like the ideal choice for the price point, I understand that as a startup business, they’re still finding their footing. Also, I was really eyeing those donuts, but because they weren’t in a closed case, I passed on them.

In terms of customer service, it was a mixed bag. There was a guy and a girl working the front, and I found the guy to be more welcoming and less timid than his counterpart. It was nice to see some enthusiasm, but I hope the team grows more comfortable over time.

Lastly, I’m thrilled to see an ice cream shop in the Miller Beach community which is a very diverse community. It’s wonderful to have a place where everyone can gather to enjoy a sweet treat. Overall, I look forward to seeing how Miller Bean Ice Cream evolves...

We are so excited to have Miller Bean Ice Cream in the neighborhood! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with incredible warmth and hospitality — it instantly felt like a place made for smiles. I'm just getting around to writing this review, but we went on their 2nd day after opening.

We were so impressed, we tried every single flavor on the menu that day… and let me tell you, not one disappointed! Each one was creamy, flavorful, and clearly crafted with love. But the real standout?

👉 The Butter Pecan — absolutely phenomenal! Rich, buttery, and perfectly crunchy with those pecans — easily one of the best we’ve ever had.

What a great place to experience fun. The place is well decorated and the owners and staff are friendly and happy. There are people milling about deciding on what treat they will order and others deciding where to enjoy their treats since there are many choices. The ice cream is on full display and is delicious.
