DR.'S ARE GREAT... IF U CAN GET 2 SEE 1. THE FRONT DESK STAFF ARE NOT ALL PROPERLY TRAINED TO CARE FOR THE PATIENTS FIRST ! SOME ACTUALLY DO CARE... SOME DON'T !
IF YOU DECIDED TO GO INTO THE MEDICAL FIELD IN ORDER TO HELP OTHERS NOT BE HURT OR SICK ! THEN DO IT ! ! !
DO NOT TALK TO OR DEAL WITH... R.N. JENNIFER DENIZARD... I AM SURE THAT SHE KNOWS HER MEDICAL STUFF VERY WELL... HOWEVER HER ATTITUDE TOWARDS MY 79 ! YEARS OLD ! MOTHER & MYSELF WAS VERY RUDE ! SHE DESPERATELY TRIED TO INSIST THAT WE LEAVE THE OFFICE & COMEBACK THE NEXT DAY ! WITCH WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UNNECESSARY & QUITE HARD TO DO. AS I WAS WORKING MY OWN JOB WITH A DOUBLE SHIFT THE NEXT DAY.
I DID EXPLAIN EVERYTHING VERY NICELY & CALMLY MORE THEN ONCE ! ... THIS R.N. DIDN'T WANT TO HELP IN THE MOST SIMPLE WAY ! AFTER ALL THE ATTITUDE WE GOT !
MY MOTHER'S MEDICAL PROBLEM WAS EASILY TAKEN CARE OF BY A VERY KIND & UNDERSTANDING DR. WHO WAS NOT HER PRIMARY DR. BUT HE WAS GLAD TO HELP HER START TO FIX HER ISSUE.
MOST OF US WORK VERY HARD AT WHATEVER WE DO FOR OUR OWN JOBS ! I DO UNDERSTAND THE POTENTIAL STRESS OF LONG DAYS OR SHORT STAFFED !
HOWEVER IF YOU ARE ANY TYPE OF FIRST RESPONDER ! THEN JUST HELP ! IT'S WHAT YOU WENT TO SCHOOL FOR ! IF NOT WORTH IT ! THEN JUST GIVE YOUR 2 WEEKS & QUIT !
SICK OR HURT PEOPLE NEED PROPER CARE ! ( NOT ! RUDE ! MEDICAL STAFF ! )
P.S. TO THE POWERS THAT BE AT THE TOP OF C.H.A. ! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL ! PLEASE RE - OPEN UP THE INMAN SQ. OFFICE TO ALL OF YOUR STAFF & IT'S PATIENTS ! THIS WOULD HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE ! IF NOT... JUST LET THE LOCATION GO BACK TO THE...
Read moreDoctors and nursing staff associated with doctors are great. Very empathetic, responsive and try to help you and put you at ease. Non- medical staff (receptionist, clerk) is rude and unsympathetic most of the time. I was scheduled for a procedure early morning at CHA Highland Ave location this week. When I got to the registration desk on Aug 23rd morning, I was told that the doctor doing the procedure was not my regular doctor but someone else. I approached the receptionist at the Doctor’s office section to enquire why I had not received any information about this change of physician. The receptionist said she had informed by phone the previous afternoon. I told her that we check our voicemail regularly and do not remember getting any voicemail or any other intimation about this change. She just shrugged her shoulders. I did not sense least bit of remorse or contrition by the receptionist about her lackadaisical approach to patient concerns. The physician who performed the procedure did a great job. However, I believe that Cambridge Hospital has the obligation and responsibility to let the patients know in advance if there is a change of physicians for the procedure. I strongly believe that this is violation of patient rights and points to tolerance of callous attitude...
Read moreFirst, I love my doctor (and my therapist) at CHA. This review is about billing practices. I have been seeing a LCSW therapist at a CHA Family Health Center. I was billed for Outpatient Hospital services instead of for a regular counseling session. I have a co-pay for office visits for in network providers and then my insurance pays a negotiated fee to the provider for an office visit. For Hospital Outpatient service I pay the full fee ($330), and no coverage from my insurance until I’ve paid my full deductible. I thought this billing was a mistake. I had a billing mistake here in the past for a routine medical screening which took months to resolve. I spoke to the billing office and was told me all mental health services are billed as Outpatient Hospital services. I’ve already spoken to two people and am waiting to hear from a supervisor. I feel that this is nothing less than a scam to get more money out of consumers. Beware of these practices before using anything other than regular primary care services at CHA. I will update this review if this is resolved, but given what I was told today, I am...
