I love Sira! Marge and Becca greeted me the first time I had a patient consultation. The staff their truly excel and know their products and provide wonderful descriptions of all the methods of delivery. I love the atmosphere and relaxing feeling when you enter and the lighting is calming.
As a brand new medical dispensary patient when I visited they truly listened with so much COMPASSION and gave me hope I would find the right answer to address my conditions. Four Lights CBD flower is what they suggested and I liked the humidity packs inside the flower packages. If only I could afford it on a regular basis. This particular strain really helped me but I am limited economically because of my disability, but I am hoping they produce a Four Lights Pax Era Pod.
The Pax Era event made me so happy and was really fun! I got to design my own laser engraving for the vape and got it on promotion by purchasing a Granddaddy Purp Pax Era Pod. The THCV, CBG, CBN, CBD levels are perfect for me in the Purp. But, I found the Headband I could not use at all with my epilepsy, so it was a bust for that product.
Unfortunately, some strains can actually bother my condition and that is one of them. I was going to stick with the Granddaddy Purp based on the test data, but my caretaker tried a budtender's suggestion instead.
What dispensaries do not seem to realize is how if a certain strain does not work, it is a complete waste of money to patients like myself with epilepsy.
But I was so happy the price point is somewhat lower than Liberty for Pax Era Pods and definitely was worth the drive and hassle of parking to try out these strains in a pod. Love the Pax and recommend the App to all medical patients because it has helped me seriously control my dosages and how long it can last. Totally superior vaping experience and great design, just a little less durable than any 510s.
Thank you, Sira! Now if only your dispensary offered a higher discount for hardship patients. The discount card for first time patients is much appreciated, but after it runs out I won't be able to afford your flower ever except when you have deals. I do feel your dispensary truly cares about medical patients and love the diversity I've seen with staff. Hope the dispensary continues to improve!
I have to rely on CBD flower, my favorite strain after Four Lights now called Charlotte's Web from Rhode Island because Mass is just way too expensive all around, when you can get half grams of bubble hash, shatter, kief, and rosin in Rhode Island for $12.50 or other low prices if you purchase $100 at Greenleaf in Portsmouth. They also offer a $150 first time patient ounce of premium flower and have a Kindness Collection with affordable quarters of premium for $56. The prices in our state are not suited to ACTUAL medical patients suffering from a chronic illness or...
Read moreEdited again: they are not competent or professional enough to be handling medicine.
The people who work here are nice, but they constantly mess up sales, forget things, and charge you the wrong prices. If you're there you need to triple check every single thing they do. God forbid you send your caregiver, then you'll be chasing down two massive, expensive items missing from your order (never even put in) and a $100 overcharge. Then they expect you to come back to fix it, even if you're sick. This is medical cannabis. It's medicine. It's no different from the pharmacist at CVS being too high on their own supply to give you your correct medications at the right price. It's, at best, wildly unprofessional.
They also reduced sales and their member discounts. Honestly if you go here only go on the couple of sale days they have anymore and make sure you check your total multiple times or they'll just overcharge you and steal from you. I'm so beyond disappointed. Edited: I had an issue with a product here (not Sira's fault) and they were wonderful about it, so I changed my review. The dispensary is difficult to find the first time, you have to go down a level (stairs or elevator) through a basement to get there but once you do things are clearly marked. The people who work here are so nice and some are very knowledgeable. Unfortunately there's bad ventilation so it gets sweltering very quickly, with their longer wait times I'd wear layers here. They run some great sales and have a nice variety of products. There's multiple options to view the menu in store (paper and screen) which is nice. It's also in a convenient location in Davis.
My biggest complaint is delivery - every other dispensary lets you choose a time for delivery. However Sira just makes you stay home for an entire day with no advance notice at all of when they're coming. So you can't rest, or nap, or go to the doctor, or or anything. You are just completely at their whim, forced to wait by the phone all day. So I wouldn't do delivery here again unless I...
Read moreI went to Sira Naturals yesterday around 1:30pm. I am a dispensary agent at another location and what I thought would be a great experience for a friend/employee turned out to be a very uncomfortable experience. My friend just recently received her medical card and we’ve been traveling around to locations and I told her Sira in Somerville was one of the locations I go too.
Upon arrival, the security guard looks at my friend and says word for word “aren’t you banned from this location?”
My friend who is very embarrassed says “I don’t know, am I? I never been here before.”
He proceeds to say “well if you are I will know. You look like someone who is banned.” Takes her ID in the vestibule area to look up her information for a couple minutes.
VERY INCRIMINATING AND UNNECESSARY.
There were 5 other patients waiting in the hall way as well.
I proceeded to tell him how rude and uncomfortable he made us feel and I also let him know that he is violating a couple of regulations and policies when it comes to confirming patient information. I also proceeded to let him know when it comes to these types of interactions it’s best not to be discriminatory in nature.
Sira he was WRONG. He had no business handling that type of interaction. He didn’t greet us, he didn’t even say hi. His FIRST words were, I’ll repeat it for you just in case you didn’t read it the first time were “aren’t you banned from this location?” “You look like someone we had to ban.”
Let me know if this is how you operate on handling and deescalating patient situations?
I do not plan to come back to this establishment and I will reach out to the states attorney general office as well as the CCC.
Third party security officers should not be allowed to work in facilities where they don’t understand the rules and regulations. So this one is on SIRA. He violated her privacy and her patient information by evening asking those questions. That was not his job nor his place.
I strongly suggest thinking about hiring a security...
