I've been a regular customer at Charlie's Barber Shop for over 7 years. The shop has a classic, authentic barbershop feel. Michael (Mike) Pach is my go-to barber. He is a skilled professional who clearly takes pride in his work. Mike don't just cut your hair; he takes the time to understand your preferences and works meticulously to give you the exact style you're after, even offering suggestions and tips at times. Whether you're looking for a standard trim or trying out a new look, Mike always delivers on point.

Mike is not only skilled with scissors and razors but is also incredibly friendly and personable. He remembers his clients, their styles, and conversations from past visits. It's this personal touch that sets Mike and the Barber Shop apart from others.

In terms of pricing, I've found Charlie's Barber Shop to be very reasonable considering the quality of service.

One of my favorite aspects of this barbershop is how they manage appointments. It's easy to schedule a time that suits you, and they are extremely punctual. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time, which is a huge plus in my busy schedule.

I discovered Charlie’s Barbershop shortly after moving to Cambridge in 2018. Despite moving to Boston the following year, I have continued going to Charlie’s after being consistently pleased with their service. I would specifically recommend Michael Pach, who has cut my hair at the majority of my visits over the years.

Michael is a fantastic barber who combines skill and experience to create a clean fade every time. My curly hair can be difficult to manage, but Michael makes the task appear rather effortless. Being immunocompromised makes me feel anxious in public spaces, even all this time after peak COVID. Michael has always helped me to feel safe and respected, efficiently working around my mask and keeping everything clean and tidy. Michael is also a very nice person and will chat with you if you like but doesn’t force a conversation, which I like as well. I appreciate his work very much and will be a customer at Charlie’s because of him for as long as I remain in the Boston area.

Oh trust me I’ve been there but I chose to use a different name to post my review because I don’t want to deal with annoying people calling me and asking me to remove my review. Clearly you have an arrogant attitude. Why don’t you own up to what is wrong with your “business” and do better instead of just saying not a real customer and reporting my feedback as spam.

I have tried this barbershop twice with Charlie and both times the cuts were rushed and done in under 10 minutes. Definitely not worth the $35-$40 spent. During my last visit, he didn’t even clean the tools which he used on the previous client which is absolutely disgusting. Looking at the other reviews, it seems like there are other similar complaints. Will not return. I also don’t believe the response about state inspections. The state doesn’t do inspections on barbershops unless there has been a complaint filed. They just have an inspection when...
