Went here for the first time due to a recommendation of a friend. At first, I got a gel pedicure which was lovely and thorough! I love the shaping & the color. The young lady who did my pedicure was also extremely welcoming and was probably the only person to actually say anything to me and someone else even did my fingers but didn’t say really anything. I then got a dip manicure and requested French. The lady who did my manicure was cruising which sometimes isn’t for the best. I’d rather my nail technician take their time to give the paying customer their desired outcome. I checked the time on my phone while I had foil on my fingertips soaking off the dip and it was 5:17pm. By the time my manicure was over, I then paid and walked out the door it was 5:33pm!! I’ve never, like never had a “good” manicure received that fast. Especially a French dip manicure which requires two different dipping powders so it should take longer than most Dipping sessions!!! I didn’t even have time to examine my nails until I got in my car. Every single nail is full of tiny, little bubbles which has never happened anywhere I’ve gone to get French manicures or really any manicures! The nails almost look cloudy when they are supposed to look clear and glossy so I’m not sure what happened. Also, the French tip doesn’t even cover the white tip of my actual nail so you can see the white of my real nail through the nude/cloudy polish. To make matters worse, On my right thumb nail, there was still hot pink polish from my previous manicure showing through the French Manicure as well. And lastly, she didn’t even take her time to make sure she was dipping the French tip part of my nail evenly so on almost every nail, there is different French tip white lines that all vary in thickness. I understand they are busy but I would rather be turned away versus spending my money on sloppy nails!! I’ll have more respect for somewhere if you say “we are too busy, but maybe come tomorrow when it’s not so crowded” versus rushing my nails. My friend who had recommended this place got gel on her nails and she raved about it. We typically go to a salon closer to our houses but decided to give this place a shot because it was close to her work. It wasn’t until 4 days after her manicure she went out of town and 3 of her nails broke which once again, has never happened at any other salon she went to. Safe to say she too was disappointed especially because her nails were finally starting to grow and become stronger due to the dip powder and now after her appointment here, 3 broke!! Gave this 2 stars out of 5 due to my good pedicure received. Overall, I still paid $100 and tipped $20 because that’s the right thing to do (and my toes were at least good)… If I actually had time to examine my fingernails before leaving I would have said something, but I definitely will keep going to my normal salon where I’ve never had any problems. In the picture with no yellow circles, you can see the weird air bubbles and the picture with the yellow circles you can see the white part of the tip doesn’t even match the tip of my actual nail AND the different thickness of the white tip lines. My friend who got the French dip manicure didn’t have the bubbles so I assume my technician was rushing.

I was referred to gloss nails by Kaili who’s a nail tech at the salon. I had expressed to her how disappointing my previous experiences had been at other salons since I moved to PA. She told me not to worry that her salon could take care of me and hear my concerns. As soon as I walked in I have captured the place it’s beautifully decorated and everything was sparkly clean. I was greeted by Rachel who asked me to sit down and told me some was going to be right there with me. Since I didn't have an appointment and it was a Saturday I did not expect to be seated right away which was already in the plus column. The gentleman that took care of me first was very nice. As I was waiting for my nails to soak I was capturing the atmosphere of the place which is very welcoming I listen to the conversations around me and you could hear all the techs having conversations with their respective customers asking how personal lives, jobs, etc. Which was very nice to me. Since I had such a bad job done at the previous salon I had to be soaked in for a while and that allowed me to see not only the gentleman but an older lady and Rachel. As I was explaining to the older lady my reservations and concerns regarding my nail design choice Rachel jumped in and asked me a couple of questions and after she listen to me she advised me that the best course of action for my nails to look like the picture was to do dip and tips. I had expressed that I had reservations on Dip since everyone I have been to doesn't know how to do it. She assured me that they did and she helped me pick the colors. I was captured and sold on every by then. The treatment the atmosphere the salon it’s itself and I hadn’t finished once I did I see my nails I fell in love and I knew I found the place I had been looking for since day one of moving to the area. Having had experienced how dips/gel manicures for the last 5+ are supposed to be done I have grown to be very particular and when it comes to your nails you need to be heard. Which in this case I was and I left a very happy client!!! Another plus that I love is that as soon as you walk in you see their prices and you can even see them beforehand on the website no hidden fees no hidden prices like at other places. I paid $55 for my dip with tips and it was worth every penny! Thank you to Rachel and her team!!! See the picture of the manicure attached!

Had to have been the best nail salon visit in a LONNNG time. Will 100% be back. They were polite and professional, and I didn't feel like I was just another customer. I felt like they really care about everyone, regardless if you're a regular or a first time patron. Beautiful nails, and beautiful staff. Thank you, for FINALLY, a great nail salon in the area. Update: 12/22. STILL will continue to come here! For the people who are worried about children sitting and their polish peeling/coming off. I made an appointment for 4 of us, 2 being my 3 and 8 year old daughters. My older got a dip manicure with a design, my youngest got a purple gel polish. I had a full set taken off and a new one put on, and my friend had a full set. We FULLY expected to be there a while, as we were a massive undertaking. But you know what? It is entirely worth it here. Everything looks great, over a week later.

Terrible experience! I made an appointment for myself, friend, and our 2 daughters. I asked when making the appointment if they had enough staff take care of us all at the same time (because part of the experience is getting to be pampered with your friends). We walked in and had to tell them several times what we were there for and that we had an appointment. Long story short, it took us no less than 3 hours to be done. People without appointments were done before us and we walked in at the same time, so why have an appointment? Myself, my daughter, and our friends were all separated through the whole process. My friend was cut multiple times during her mani. The kids became restless because everything was taking so long, which wasn’t relaxing for anyone. The staff acted annoyed, rushed through everything, were rough, and clearly just wanted us gone. And the icing on the cake is my daughter’s gel mani is already falling off and she had her manicure about 6 hours ago. The list goes on…. We should have just walked out in hindsight.

I will say that the one part of my service that was great was my pedicure done by Isabella. She was the only one there that was genuine and thorough.

Never going back ever! $150 down the toilet. Prices online are inaccurate and no 10% discount for cash.

Edited to add since I can’t respond to the owner: When I called for an appointment I specifically asked for a GEL MANICURE AND PEDICURE for 4 people and asked if you could accommodate! You said yes! This was 3 weeks ahead of time. The people that walked in at the same time as us did not have appointments (I heard them say it!). If you cannot take care of the number of customers you have, then walk in’s should be told to come back or that you are booked for the day OR you just shouldn’t take appointments. I had to tell someone 5 times just what we were there for and never saw anyone look at an appointment book. We were unable to leave because you started working on our nails, then left us in a room alone for another 45 minutes afterwards with cut bleeding fingers and dried cotton stuck to our hands! Our daughters are 5 & 6…we got gel because we wanted their nail colors to last. Obviously we should have just paid less and gotten regular polish because they fell off anyway which seems to be a common occurrence based on your reviews! Nope we didn’t leave tip for your terrible service! That said, I was prepared to pay to have a nice day with a friend and our children, and would have paid anything that was charged plus tip had it been a good experience! It really does speak volumes when I business owner argues with any customer that has an issue! Anyone considering this place should take note at how argumentative and confrontational you are!

Edit after second response from the owner: I’m sorry but the customer is absolutely right in this case! Please don’t throw the race card! Nobody assumed you can’t understand what we were saying which consisted of “this is a disaster”. Sorry that hurt...
