Abo Halal Market (formerly known as Abdu Market) is my go-to place for fresh meat and a great selection of Asian - Indian, and Pakistani groceries. It’s important to note that this store is not related to the other Abdu Market in Michigan—both are entirely separate businesses.
I usually come here for their fresh meat, and they always chop it to the size I request. The process is seamless—I just call ahead to place my order, and it’s always ready for pickup when I arrive. All I have to do is walk in and pay. Super convenient!
Beyond meat, they carry a good variety of groceries, including spices, rice, lentils, and other essentials. They also have fresh snacks, which is a nice bonus. The store is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, both in person and over the phone, always greeting customers with warmth. Parking is shared with other stores in the plaza, but I’ve never had trouble finding a spot.
Overall, Abo Halal Market is a great choice for quality meat, a diverse grocery selection, and excellent...

Their attitude is I think the main reason not going there EVER again he is getting all the business because of the Muslim community but doing nothing good for the same community.. "Muslim brotherhood" should be from both sides if we are giving him money they should respect us at least

Read moreToday we visited abdu Markey on cherryhill and requested lamb stew meat. The young man behind the meat counter said they only have lamb leg and he can cut the fat and chop it into lamb stew. We said okay and he proceeded to give us an 11lb lamb leg at 8.99/lb. When we got home, we realized that most of the fat had not been trimmed. We cleaned the meat ourselves and the final product was 5.5lb of actual meat and the remainder was fat and bone that was to be discarded. We are extremely disappointed at the meat we received and all the extra work that had to go into getting essentially 50% of the meat we paid for. Before when Abdu himself was at this location, we always received quality meat but he is not there and the service and quality is clearly lacking. We will not visit this...
