Plenty of room for picnicking. There is no fixed bathroom facility here but often there is a temporary one set up.
There is an entertaining, small water park for the little ones. Along with this there is a very nice play structure which is in good condition. Plenty of seating for adults.
There is a connected nature trail beyond the park. There are two entry points that cross over Flodin Creek. The area is returning to its natural state. It is still rough in places. Grass carp breed in the shallows during late summer. There are often water fowl here including cranes, herons, geese and various types of ducks. Plenty of woodland and field birds as well.

The biking trail that runs all the way to I-275 starts here. There are also soccer fields, baseball diamond and a decent play fixture for tots.
There is a walking path around the fields and is popular with people although the park is almost never feels overcrowded.
