Quite strange experience. I come from the West Coast so this store was a bit of a shock for me. Upon arrival to the store you need to put a quarter into a cart to use it for the duration of your shopping trip. Once you walk into the store, it feels like a Grocery Outlet back home. None of the foods are really name brand but it's to ensure lower prices, I'm sure. Finish shopping and oh don't forget to bring your re usable bags because this place charges for bags. They also don't bag your groceries. I was wondering how the cashier scanned and bagged our whole cart so quickly, well she didn't. The groceries after being scanned were put back into the cart. You then move your full and overstuffed cart to a separate area at the end of the store to bag your items. Had I known any of this, we likely would have shopped elsewhere. The store was clean. I dont know how people in retired or on fixed income can shop at other places. Aldis has almost out grown this store. We went to Canton and there store was larger than Galesburg and I got dozen eggs for 1.94 ea. so bouught 2 doz to have on hand.
Clancy potato chips are good, off brand fritos, dry roasted peanuts they have really good chocolate bars from switzerland etc. There meats are good. They carry assorted non dairy cheese and milks and ice creams fir those with allergies. Friendly and...
