Ethan Allen — Local services in Canton

I ordered a set of sofas: one love seat and one XL love seat, to fit in my under-sized living room. I had always previous purchased furniture from a retailer that specializes in recliners as well as other furniture, where I had been satisfied. I did not expect to be so impressed with Ethan Allen. I figured EA would be overprices, but they were very competitive I am thrilled with my purchase.

First, a designer worked with me to do a virtual representation of my room. I honestly wanted a bigger sofa, but he rightly showed me that it was just too big. I'm glad I went with the dual love seats.

Second, my family members are all tall - 5'10" to 6'6". The sofa has great height, and leg and back support. It's hard to find furniture that fits a family of tall people.

Third, I love the options for the cushions internally. We upgraded to the springs - this is fabulous. Everyone who sits on it comments on how comfortable it is.

Fourth, the upholstery selection beat the competitors. I was looking for a light neutral. Most are just that - beige fibers woven together. However, while this has a neutral base, if you look closely, there are actually blue and yellow and rust fibers mixed in. It's not noticeable to the casual glance, but it gives the sofa LIFE. Instead of looking at a dreary beige sofa, I am looking at a sofa which oh-so-subtly picks up on the colors of the room giving it a warmth and strength I love.

Fifth, I bought this on sale and the price was very competitive. For the price and the quality, it was a bargain. I expect to pay for quality, which I did, but I also got a good and honest price and am pleased.

Finally, it was scheduled to ship two months sooner than other stores were promising during the pandemic, and even then arrived a month early. Fabulous service.

I will be going back to Ethan Allen again, although I expect these sofas to last...

I always work with Michael Curulla at the Canton Design Center of Ethan Allen. Recently, I felt my living room needed "something" but I didn't know what. Michael had helped me select new chairs, a sofa, a coffee table and other accessories, and everything looked great. But something was missing. Michael knew exactly what it was. The windows were almost bare. There were shades for privacy, but the room looked cold. We selected a beautiful fabric, only to be told that it was no longer being produced. Michael quickly found two alternatives; one that was a bit (not much) more than our original selection; and the other, quite a bit less per yard. He told me not to rush in making a choice, so I went home and thought about it. After about one week, I called, and the fabric and trim we ordered should be here soon.
