I gave one star due to not providing a bathroom. I had to pee and just eat holding it. They lose business because they refuse to provide a restroom for their customers. There are times I won't come here to eat because of not being able to use the bathroom. A customer was here while I was and also needed to use it but they refused the lady to be able to use the bathroom and lied there wasn't one. So the customer had to walk over to a gas station and Applegate Farm apparently expects that business to provide a bathroom for the customers of Applegate instead. How do the people who work at Applegate hold it all day since they say they don't have a bathroom? There is an unwelcoming sign on their entrance door clearly stating no bathroom for their own customers. If you serve food and drink, the re should be a law requiring a bathroom since you have a cafe. It's inhumane not too . Now I will have to go to the gas station AGAIN to use the bathroom when I am done. As I type this, another customer asked to use the bathroom and the worker told her to go to the gas station and said she could even walk, like, why should your own customer have to walk to find a bathroom?? Now my pee that I have been holding is turning into a number 2 and I have to hope I make it to a bathroom. I ate cheese, ice cream, etc here so now I need to use a...
Read moreWe stopped in for breakfast one morning and it's a very cute shop. They sell products from local vendors as well as their own. There were fresh veggies and fruit. They make their own salsa, jam, sauces, etc.; will purchase that to try out next time!
This was before Christmas and they had a small Christmas tree up decorated with handmade ornaments from local artists; zip codes with bells and signs with the town names on it. I thought that was cute!
I ordered a breakfast sandwich, coffee, and apple cider donuts. Those were delicious! They also have soup, pies, handmade soaps, honey, etc.
If you can't make it inside, they do have a drive thru. There were a couple of small tables inside and outside. I am all for supportting local small businesses! Can't...
Read moreThis is my favorite spot to stop and eat when biking along the Farmington river trail(bike path). Scenic too! Bring a few dollars and get a piece of fruit to eat on a biking break. Or get ice cream. :) Or buy your local farm veggies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for a few years now. And I think they also have opportunities to work and play with horses here. I'm not familiar with that part of...
