Sunday, 03/17/24 2:00: We’ve been here a dozen times or so. The burger is always excellent, the fries are pretty good, limp unlike the past. The fries are very pricey. The service is very good but the place over the last year is not as well kept. Some of the center post tables have been broken down for months, the tops wobble way too much because they aren’t screwed down correctly. And, this time like the last couple of times the tables aren’t at all wiped down. If it weren’t so cold out we’d have eaten out. A thin middle-aged woman and younger man were cooking and bringing the food out and trying to keep up with the trash on the tables and counters. Another female employee 40s-50s was hanging out at a table on her cell phone the 25 minutes we were inside.

Reviews from Fall 2023 follow: So second time we’ve been here. First time I ordered a cheese burger and fries. The burger was cooked to order, hot, juicy and fresh and the fries are thin, crispy outside and doughy inside. Great. This time I made a mistake and ordered a J Burger. 2 Pattie’s and bacon, cheese, all the toppings and fries. Wow! My wife who’s always on a diet ate 1/3 of everything. BTW, if you haven’t noticed the average 1/3-1/2 lb burger at most places these days is $15, this is 1/2 the price. McD’s will cost you almost as much for a meal and it would take 2 meals to fill me as much. $6.99-7.99 is very, very reasonable for the burgers. Very reasonable. It’s post-pandemic...

I went on opening day and it was quite busy it took me about 40 minutes to get my order but it was worth it! I got the garlic aioli cheddar fries and they were fantastic! I got the fried mushrooms and I added a blue cheese fondue for dipping and it was okay but I found that the blue cheese fondue was very intense and flavor and that's something coming for me because I love blue cheese I mean don't get me wrong I I did not eat it but it was a little strong. They gave me a free fry which they do on Fridays apparently and it was a poutine. I have personally never had poutine before this was the first time but I found that the beef gravy was super intense and crazy salty I'm not sure if that's typical for poutine because I have no frame of reference but I've seen it on other menus with a chicken gravy and I'm thinking that might have been better. I wasn't a huge fan personally but I hear that poutine isn't for everybody and it was really nice that they gave me a free fry and I do recommend that to anyone who wants to try them out try them out on a Friday. I also got some iced tea in a bottle and typically I drink my iced tea unsweetened and this was sweetened but it wasn't obnoxiously sweetened it was nice so I didn't mind it at all I would definitely get it again. They were good in the past, however the quality has dropped lately. What has caused me to write this review is an experience with an online order.

I ordered online, probably a half hour before closing. My delivery person got to the restaurant, and they didn't have the order prepared.

Online, it said there was time left to put the order in - and it was accepted.

When the driver got there, the staff at the restaurant was very rude - the service called up the restaurant and said there were "system issues". Right, "it was the computer", the old standby excuse.

Anyways, my whole problem was the boss treating people disrespectful. The time of 3 people was wasted + the manager has the nerve to be rude and disrespectful to the people who pay your bills?

Buddy, you're new in the area and trying to start up a franchise. Giving your customers a bad taste is not what you want to do. I'll order elsewhere. Plan B has eay better burgers and with the price jacking this place has been doing - there's no reason for me to do business here anymore.
