I can honestly say, I've never been this excited to write a review.
When I pulled into the parking lot, I was amazed at how many spaced near the door this place has, and even though the lot looked packed, there were still many spaces available.
The next thing I noticed was how absolutely smooth the shopping cart was. It felt unnatural for a shopping cart to be so smooth.
As I walked into the store, I expected it to be packed, because of all the cars... but there was ample room for me to turn my cart around, being that I was just kinda wandering about, not knowing where to start, being my first visit to your store.
Then, as I was wandering about, I was amazed at the selection on the outer isles of the store, full of fresh goodness. So many choices, that I thought I was going to be overwhelmed. I barley looked at all the bakery items, because I know you avoid these delectable goodies, but I still noticed that the bakery counter was so long. Then I saw a bacon counter. Yes. A bacon counter, with a variety of freshly slices, thick slabs of bacon. I was drooling, but again, I didn't stop. Although I looked at the packaged meats, and kept going until I saw the fresh cut meats. Wow. The steaks were so thick. And I loved the ability to purchase as much or as little in meats as a wanted, since they weren't prepackaged. I loved this. If I only wanted 2 or 3 chicken thighs, I could buy it that way, unlike in other grocery stores.
Next I moved on to the produce. Which was gorgeous. And more options than I'm used to seeing.
While browsing the produce, and filling my cart, I noticed a machine for freshly squeezed Pineapple juice, and another for fresh nut butter. I will certainly have to check these out next time.
By the end, when looking at my cart, I was expecting my bill to come to around a hundred dollars, and I was pleasantly surprised, to see less than $80 for everything I brought. One of the reasons this surprised me, was because I added a couple of splurge items.
All in all, this was a very pleasant shopping experience and I believe I had found my new store. It's worth the 20 minute drive, since I'm not crazy about the stores nearer to me.
I mustn't forget to make a shout out to two employees I'm particular. These two both made a lasting impression on your store, providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
The first shout out goes to Ron in Meats. Answering all my questions, amd making me laugh, brightening my day even more.
The second shout out goes to Cashier Karen. Very informative and helpful, answering many questions, and making the checkout experience enjoyable.
Also, I should probably mention, Guillermo for knowing how to properly bag my items, organizing them perfectly, as well as being friendly and bringing my attention to BOGO Tuesdays.
I will absolutely return to your store, and recommend Farmer Joe's to anyone looking for a new place to shop.
Thank you,...
Read moreWe were there opening day and I will admit, while the store was crowed because it was opening day I found pluses and minuses…. The veggies and fruits were beautiful! Some were priced at a very good price and then some were very over priced in comparison with other larger local stores.
I felt the meats; the selection and eye appeal were beautiful and desirable and The frozen selection of food was limited. Both meats and frozen goods are priced higher than I usually pay at Publix’s but once again it was quick views because of the crowds..
The deli area was packed so I did not venture into that corner and I would say the same for the bakery. Quick looks but nothing caught my eye to journey my way into the crowds.
The store was clean and beautifully stocked. The dry goods and more were a little more than what I usually pay but I did think they had a great variety of food when it comes to different ethnicities and food intolerance bases. We did purchase fresh coffee beans to try but noted there was no scale available to weigh our purchase.
I do realize time will bring some changes within the store but I hope they keep up the standards of being customer/ employee friendly, as well as clean, well stocked store and reasonably priced store. I did love that it is a employee/family friendly store that has cashiers manually working every register. We did notice that the employees were not wearing masks. we do feel this is important to our family and the farmer joes employee to practice safety issues for everyone health in our community (especially in such tight quarters and thick crowds). I do not feel this is a good decision to keep our community safe and I hope farmer joes will reconsider this procedure at least for the current point in time.
I loved that they are working with our local communities for purchasing produce and veggies!
We do need more shopping choices in our community. Will I give up Publix’s? Definitely not! But Farmers Joes is a nice change and I do see myself shopping there as a secondary choice. I love what your providing to our community and we do welcome you Farmer Joes. Our family wishes you great success and we look forward to our visits...
Read moreWhat a fantastic market! We went for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. We were greeted at the front entrance and offered samples of Florida watermelon (which was delicious by the way). We entered the store to an unbelievable produce section! Everything was fresh and organized beautifully. We loved that each item is labeled with its name and where it is grown. The items that are not locally sourced are jet delivered to assure freshness we were told.
The meat selection is amazing!! You cannot compare the prime meat here to other stores...the quality and the selection is outstanding. The butcher we talked with was very knowledgeable and friendly.
They have amazing freshly made salsa, guacamole, pasta, pizza dough, and a huge selection of take and bake. The selection of gourmet meats and cheeses are awesome!
We were given a tour of the "vineyard" to find they have an unbelievable selection of wines! We sampled a garnacha nativa from Spain that was delicious. We are having it with our dinner tonight.
Another delight was the locally made lotions, soaps, scrubs and candles. Excellent quality and we were able to support local small businesses too!
The orange juice from Naples is to die for! Our first thought was WOW, if only we had champagne we could have the most amazing mimosas. It is 100% juice with no preservatives. It is not the chemical laden kind that can sit for days in the fridge. However, it is so good it wouldn't last that long!
Did I mention the samples? They are everywhere in the market!! Every edible thing we tried was delicious!!! We loved being able to try before you buy.
They have nice sales! The prices on some things are a little more but less on others. However, what you are getting is high quality, you know where it is coming from and it hasn't been sitting in a truck for a week before you get it.
Lastly, the market is clean, beautifully organized, and every staff member we came in contact with was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The owners should be very proud of what they have created here. We will definitely be regular customers...
