I went here with some friends for the first time. Sad to say I won’t ever be back. Our server Kayla was very nice and took good care of our party, she is the only reason I left 2 stars. It took a while for our waters to come but we got chips and salsa right away! Salsa was more like marinara than salsa. I order this from the menu. I received a small amount of rice and beans (which I don’t like and these were not listed on the menu so I didn’t say no beans). My shrimp was cool. The queso fresco crumbly white cheese was so chewy and rubbery, I have never tasted cheese like that. My plate was missing lettuce, pico and guac! I requested no onions so my server offered that peppers and onions on the side, which I opted for but was also missing from my plate. I was mid second taco when I found a huge black hair in my dish. Kayla offered another plate but I had lost my appetite after that. She offered a plate to go but I politely declined. Then Kayla offered dessert, which I got to share with my friends. We got the fired ice cream which was good. Overall food was inaccurate on menu and not good. Service was extremely slow. It took over 2 hours for a party of 8 but our server Kayla was very nice and accommodating.

When they say looks are deceiving, that is precisely what this experience was. The establishment appears nice and friendly. We visited on a Wednesday at 3pm and were the only patrons, which was our first indication of a potential issue. 1. The waiter: although I am fluent in both Spanish and English, the waiter had a strong accent that made communication challenging. When I inquired about the special or best option, he responded by mentioning that the chimichangas were suitable for two people, which did not address my question. 2. Ordering time: we were a group of six, consisting of three teenage boys and three adults. When my 17-year-old nephew requested the Molcajete "Laredo," the waiter reacted with surprise, as if the request was unreasonable. 3. Although the presentation was satisfactory and the portions generous, the food lacked flavor. 4. Cost: the cost was above pricing for the flavorless food. 5. Lastly and the most disgusting is as my grandson was eating as he feels something crawl up his leg and jumps up and finds a cockroach crawling up his leg. NEVER AGAIN!!

I’ve gone to Mexico Lindo a few times now. The chips and salsa are great but I highly recommend getting a cup of queso on the side, too! I’ve only ever had enchiladas so far and they were delicious. One order came out wrong (asked for green sauce instead of red... got red) but I love any Mexican food so I just ate it anyway. I am so thankful I am allowed to order more “a la carte” for when I’m not really hungry for a complete meal. The margaritas are fantastic, too, which I’ve tried a few different flavors. The atmosphere is one of the nicer places I’ve been to. It’s a good, comfortable space. For some reason, the service is a little slow as many say and I’m not quite sure why when the servers are always walking past us, but I just try to relax and not stress over it. Just order what you need right away and get your next drink a little earlier than you typically would. However, if you’re on a time crunch, save this place for a different day. We will be going back!

First time I ordered from here and used a delivery service. Delivery time was normal. But my order was missing items. The delivery service corrected the problem, but when I called the resturant to discuss it they did not apologize or say sorry for the mistake. I ordered fajitas and they didnt send any shells by the time I got the shells my food was cold. The steak tasted great but probably would have been fantastic if it was fresh and hot. I requested one of my meals not to have beans they did my other meal with no beans as well and I wanted that meal with beans. I asked for ALOT of hot sauce called them to tell them that. They only sent 2. When I was told delivery service was going back for the missing items, I called the resturant again to tell them I need ALOT more hot sauce they told me they would have to charge me for it. Like come on you forgot some of my food. The least you can do is give me the hot sauce for free and offer me a free dessert or say sorry and apologize since my food is cold when I go to eat it cause you didnt pack my order correct. Ordered a burrito and it was huge but the taste was very blan. Nothing special. I wouldnt recommend using this resturant for carry out or for delivery. And from other reviews ive read when you dine in service is horrible as well. They need to work on their customer service and get better at packing to go orders and make sure everything is there. You can't eat fajitas with out shells. And if you make a mistake apolgize...

My wife and I chose this restaurant pretty much at random for our first meal in Fort Myers while on vacation. It was great luck that we did.

The salsa and chips were delicious. Not spicy, but it had such great flavor it did not need any.

I ordered an appetizer that was pico de gallo and octopus (pulpo). The octopus was as soft and tender as butter. My wife, who is very hard to impress, was floored! I also ordered the carnita chimichanga. I am at a loss of words to describe how much I enjoyed it. Everything about the chimichanga was pretty much perfect. Enough white queso to add a lot of flavor, not enough to make the fried tortilla soggy. The meat was outstanding, and tender enough to fall apart on my fork. It was one of the best meals I have ever had while dining out. Period. I can also safely say that both my wife and 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well.

We also had the flan, and it is rich, creamy, and delicious. I am eager to try the Mexico Lindo take on the other dessert they have on the menu!

It's very clear that the owners and staff care about the quality of the food at this establishment, and that desire is evident in what they bring to the table. We plan on eating here as much as we can while we are in town, and it has instantly become one of our favorite places. Thank you Mexico Lindo for a great memory that I can share...

We were seated immediately after arriving without a reservation. We opened our menus and food fell from my daughter's menu. It took several minutes for our "waiter" Javier to get to our table. He took our drink order and left without asking if we were ready to order. He came back with our drinks after an extended period of time and again he left without taking our dinner order. After observing while we waited more than 15 minutes for Javier to return I noticed he was not wearing the waiters uniform. He is the bartender. He took our order. While we were there, a table sat after us got their drinks before us and were served and paid their check before I got my glass of water. They were probably at home with their feet up before we got our entree. I had the shrimp chimichanga and my daughter had the vegetable fajitas. The chimichanga was OK not bad but not necessarily good it lacked seasoning. Rice was under seasoned but the beans were quite tasty. The vegetable fajitas were also under seasoned. I would normally not complain about food without speaking with my server. But we were never asked how everything was to seek some remedy. It was not the servers fault. No one was managing the floor. It was a free for all. I gave one star for Javier's hard work and a star for an adequate...
