UPDATE - no action by the management was taken towards the loud noise from 7AM to 7PM around Building 4 and 5. No idea how tiny work lasts months until Feb 2025. ALL major construction of buildings were done, but sill super loud noise from construction and traffic between buildings can be heard (with windows closed) EVERY SINGLE DAY even on the weekend, disturbing your daily meetings with the clients/colleagues.

RESPONSE to Leah's letter- the noise is the construction traffic for our property or the hospital near us? How long will it last? I work from home for 12 hours a day. The workers played loud music and talk a lot to each other loudly.

Cleaning - it was 12 days after my initial move-in, fact is the fact. large dogs without training and barking at people passed the screening?

Again, the bags are either the clean recycle or the bags for me to carry some items for the moving - NOT TRASH - refuse on maintenance' observation and decline on the harmful chemical solution. The management tried to weak the reasoning by providing other potential reasons for ants. It does not make sense - I lived in different properties (in different cities) with the same treatment of recycle and set up the furniture, and I never had any issue with ants. Maintenance supervisor is awesome and could address the requests and issues.

I would like to bring several concerns to your attention regarding the ongoing construction in and around the property. Construction truck noise begins as early as 6 AM ET, and these vehicles pass through the property on the road directly below my window throughout the day until 6PM ET. The construction noise is constant and significantly disruptive. Unfortunately, this early morning noise has exacerbated my sleep apnea, leading to severe migraines and vision issues, including floaters. This will last for a long time, as the construction of a hospital is on the other side.

The microwave, stove, and refrigerator were not thoroughly cleaned, with visible residue and particles left behind. There are cracks in the bathtub and on the wall. The wall and floor are thin, and I can hear AC unit noise from the neighbors. And I see ants in my unit.

Lastly, a nearby neighbor has a large dog that barks intermittently, and I can clearly hear it from my unit. I'm uncertain about the property's pet screening policy, but I have noticed several large dogs on the premises, some of which have barked at people.

I have attempted to address these issues with upper management; however, I was redirected to the local property manager. After moving in, it took 11 days for the cleaning crew to re-do some cleaning and inspect the microwave. Upon their inspection, it was determined that the particles falling from the microwave were originating from within the appliance itself, and unfortunately, the cleaning efforts were ineffective. While the staff at the Steadman are great and very prompt I have concerns with the property Managment. This is new construction and I've been informed by the leasing office that they do not clean the outside windows of the apartment buildings when construction is complete. What???? I can clean the patio but not the 2 bedroom widows on each side as I'm on the 5th floor. The windows are 9ft I believe with also a transom above. I have attached a photo of what all the outside windows look like from the inside of the apartments. Not only is this new construction but 2 new office buildings are constructed behind the apartments creating even more dirt. On another note the decking in not level or sturdy and it would make it very difficult to even reach the transom even with an extension to clean. Major accident waiting to happen. This was an issue last year and they did try to have someone clean the patio but let’s just say it was by no means done with clean rags or a squeegee. On another note while the offices and the amenities are very well kept which is a plus I’m not paying to live in the amenities. There is a cleaning person for that but it does not go beyond that point. The carpet in my building has not been completely swept in almost a year. Only spot swept and mopped. With all this being said the leasing staff and/or the maintenance person could not possibly take on these extra tasks.
