BEWARE OF ORDERING THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE On April 24th, I placed an order through Pot belly website that was supposed to be delivered by Carmel, IN store on April 25 at 11:45 am. The order was never delivered and no one contacted me saying that they do not have ability to deliver. After 1 hour of the expected delivery time, when I called the store, I was told that the order is ready for pickup and that they do not have ability to deliver. So my lunch was sitting there for 1+ hour and no one thought of contacting me. When I asked why was I charged for delivery fees on the website when the store is not able to deliver it, I was told to contact manager through email on the website - which obviously doesn't exist on the website. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would prefer not to go to this place or order through place anytime in near future.

The order was confirmed and to be delivered by 11:55am. 12:20 rolled around and I had not received my food or had a call to tell me they were running late. I called Potbelly to find out what was going on. They had no clue I placed an order online because their dash was down. I don’t understand that part because I ordered directly of their website. They told me they could “remake” my sandwich and it would be ready in 20 minutes if I come pick it up. I didn’t have time for that so I just asked for a refund. They couldn’t do that because apparently it has to be approved by the higher up and someone would contact me. Low and behold, no one called me. I stopped in after work to get my refund and they still couldn’t do that when I was in the store. They told me to call back in a few days if I still hadn’t received it. They are severely short on staff at this location. I saw people who were canceling their orders on the app because they were tired of waiting.

I waited in line and it took forever. There was a lady working her tail off starting and finishing the sandwiches while another guy was running the register and answering phones. It didn't help that folks were calling in to ask him to read the menu off to them - I was thinking tell them potbelly.com and hang up - but I don't work there. :)

Unfortunately, this once fine establishment is losing revenue and upsetting their remaining customers.
