I am a Carpinteria local and a long time customer. I am very upset that I had one of the young men at the cash register yell at me right after making a purchase and all I did was ask for my change to be in 1$ bills because I was also refilling my water containers outside. He yelled at me “ What do you expect! To leave him with no cash to make change for customers!” I politely explained I needed the change to get water outside from the water machine. He didn’t care. He proceeded to yell at me how I was going to take all his money! Five 1$ bills! And he yelled at me how is he going to be able to give change to other customers after me! Completely disappointed and disrespected. After how much money I spend in the store and how polite I am with the staff. This is one individual. Not all the store staff is as rude and disrespectful as the employee that yelled at me. I doubt I’ll ever go back in. They don’t seem to care about how they treat...
