Product OK, Site misleading, Customer experience AWFUL Purchased a Socomec Netys Rt-120v 1500va online UPS. Great price. Incorrectly formatted web page text display can be deciphered to reveal units are new open box items. (Pic attached) Customer experience: Site touts "Free Shipping 1-2 days" Placed order on Feb 20. Selected option extra $7.50 for "Ship Today", expecting shipment that day. Checked order status on Monday Feb 22. Order status page returned strangely worded response "Order didn't shipped now." Called customer service: "We don't work on Saturday so thus not shipped then, will ship today. When pressed, they offered to refund the $7.50 for the misleading "Ship Today" charge - refund still missing a month later. Checked status page 2 days later - same goofy message. Called again: Rep claimed: "Item has actually shipped." NOPE. Not true. Next day noonish Fedex finally showed "info received - awaiting item." Item eventually arrived at Fedex 9 hours later. It took another 5 days for the damaged and taped up box to show up. So much for "Free Shipping 1-2 days". Item was not damaged, but for a "new" unit it had a few suspicious clues. As I was struggling to carry the fairly heavy device it suddenly came to life - display lit and fan running! The battery connector that the installation instructions shows requires connection as part of the initial setup was already connected. The LCD was pretty scratched up. The case label shows a date code of 2017 and the box has a "Return to vendor" label from 2018 with an entry claiming "Defect v status". The unit does work. It is able to supply its fully rated 1350va. The fan is a bit loud even at no load. Beware the Astroturf reviews. Highly unprofessional & deceiving website. Seems being run by unethical team. What they mention in the website & what actually the product says is totally different. As per the Website it was clearly mentioned that the Product is a FITBIT FLEX 2 which includes the Unit as well as bands. I called them to verify the Stock and the Person confirmed. The person told we have only 1 in stock hence after Ordering only we can see the Fulfillment and guarantee. Hence I ordered at $55 with taxes & free shipping.. After few hours I called them again & they said sorry the Website is wrong. We cannot sell you at that Price , the Prices are $70 plus & our website is wrong updated & they removed from the website. But I have the screen shot . Cheaters. 2-May: After the above review on 30 April 2019 AZTEK contacted me and mentioned that I am too harsh. I stated that since I have ordered online, you honor the price and product and deliver it. As I have the screen shot of the same. They said they will contact me on 1st May by 10-11 am with what best they can do and requested me to remove the review , as they are currently a Small org and growing. As per my word I removed the review and I waited until today 2-May and its 4.45pm CST and nothing. Hence I am updating and posting the review again. This further adds to the unprofessional aspect of the Org. 9 May 2019 They are continuously calling to remove my review . But what I stated is facts. Since they were playing I had to Cancel my order & they seem to be overjoyed to Cancel and I was lucky to get my refund , in some cases I understand people did not receive the Refund too. 14 May Today I got a call from Citi Card & my card was compromised to the level of $800 plus. Verify they have a product in stock prior to ordering and paying. Attempted to order a monitor the website noted one in stock. Saving grace I payed through PayPal. Next day my order still had a status of created. I called, emailed, and finally chat got a hold of some that claimed it was out of stock. They wanted to take time for them to find from another vendor. I said no thank you please cancel my order and refund my money back to Paypal. Well the amusing part was they still kept that one monitor on their site for sail one in stock during and after this ordeal. The next issue when it came to the refund they first claimed that since it was not fully processed my card was not deducted well that was not true. PayPal already sent them the money if it didn't the transaction wouldn't complete. Then after contacting the next day they said they contacted Paypal with cancellation and that was not true. So after I filled a dispute with PayPal I finally received my full refund. I would never go to them again. I should of read all the reviews...
