My 5 year old wanted to go off the slide, but as it was his first time he was a little scared. I told him I would be in the water waiting for him when he came down. I waited by the end of the slide and the snotty little lifeguard tried to tell me I couldn't "catch" my son. He's fully capable of swimming. He was just nervous and wanted me close by. After playing there for about an hour, my 5 year old wanted to use the slide again, he went down it about 5 times when another lifeguard grabbed him by the hand to bring him over to the pole to check his height. ( I was standing there the whole time) maybe tell your staff not to touch other people's kids, and if they want something done with a CHILD maybe try speaking to the parent thats...
