Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Carrollton

Pulled into sonic, order a 3 peice chicken strip, breakfast burrito, small fries and small tots. After I ordered, 2 employees came out and got into a car parked in the stalls near the door, and left. I waited 10 minutes for my food, then the car hop just started handing me the bag and telling me the total without even reading back the ticket. So i asked if she wasnt even going to read the ticket back and why it took 10 minutes for that little bit of food. She said there were only 2 of them working and that 4 cars pulled on at the same time. There were only 6 or 7 cars at sonic including me. Being 11:30 am and lunch hour, perhaps management shouldnt have been sending employees home. My food wasnt even hot. Wasnt fresh, no steam. My 9 year old in the car with me grabbed a chicken strip and bit right into it and it was luke warm. They gave me 1 mint for 2 meals. This establishment continues getting worse. I'm a GI patient therefore I order a specialty cherry limeade ALWAYS. I've been ordering this drink from SIX YEARS in three different states! So I order a cherry limeade made with the juice from the real cherries as I can not have the artificial cherry syrup. The lady taking our order became rude and then approached our truck. She informed me Sonic doesn't have such a drink. I seriously thought your motto was made they way you want it... We quickly learned this lady was the manager. She kept trying to tell us what I was ordering was a lime-aid (clearly it's not). We thought we had the order straightened out (after what seemed like forever). They brought out our drinks and sure enough I was given a lime aid! I left our entire order on the order board and drove away. NEVER will I visit your rude incompetent store! I give 4 stars because the food was delicious as always, but only half of the order was correct. We almost got out of town when we noticed which is better than being 10 miles further. I should have checked when we received the order but even still, the order was wrong. Normally it is accurate, but not this time.
