If not for the rude and condescending staff this place would be ok. My husband and I pride ourselves on being responsible and respectful people. We were never late on rent and kept the place in top notch shape with no damages. When we moved out I asked if there would be a walk-through. The lady at the front office said "Oh, no need! You're all taken care of". I should have insisted! Sure enough we get a letter months later about stains in the carpet and a broken closet door. We had no photos or any proof other than our word against theirs so without arguing we sent the check to put it behind us. They received and deposited the check within 30 days of us receiving notice. EIGHT MONTHS LATER out of the clear blue we start receiving threatening calls from a debt collector!!! AGAIN I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it was just an oversight on their part and I would call to clear up the matter. We were given the run around for a week by being told there was ONE person in the entire office who could assist us and she was out sick, all the while we are being harassed DAILY by this debt collector. My husband finally speaks to DEBBIE and she is completely RUDE! She practically called my husband a liar by saying they never received the payment. Went on to belittle him by continuously telling him to "calm down" and "lower his voice" while he remained composed and professional throughout the conversation. FINALLY before ending the conversation DEBBIE suddenly finds record of the payment. Do you think we received a single apology? Any admittance to their wrongdoing?? Nope. Instead she then changes the story to say we were late with the payment which was also a LIE! After ending the conversation my husband later called back to schedule a face to face with DEBBIE so that he could bring our documentation showing we made the payment and on time. By then DEBBIE had completely changed her tune, referring to him as "sweetie" saying she would contact the debt collector and tell them not to contact us anymore and that the matter had been resolved. STILL no apology EVER. To conclude, avoid this place because based on other reviews DEBBIE has been a constant problem here and yet the place continues to employ her. The remainder of the staff isn't the greatest either. Customer service across the board there is sub par.
UPDATE 3/31/2016: To my surprise I recently received a call from the Property Manager at this community. She was very apologetic about our situation and the treatment we received from the particular employee. It's good to know that they do care about customer service and someone is actually listening. Then to be told from management that “not having AC is not an emergency” during months not deemed hot enough for them to care? our total number of time spent without AC was AT LEAST 2 months. then the week we were packing and moving, it was out the majority of that time. don’t do it. this management doesn’t care.

This would be a much better place to live if management took noise complaints more seriously, especially when it comes to people leaving their animals unattended so their dogs can bark 24/7 and drive you mad when you work from home. I called the office just now, tried making a complaint, and the woman said nothing could be done unless it was during certain times at night. I then said it did occur at night occasionally all this year, so it would fit that criteria, which was followed by dead silence from the woman for an elongated period of time, then followed by “is there anything else I can help you with?” so yeah. noise complaints don’t do anything and you’re just stuck in purgatory hearing a neglected dog bark all day. very fun.
(another edit) additional things to add on: My partner and I were charged 3x our monthly water bill last month, and the management team seemed like they had no interest in helping. they did, however, send maintenance to inspect our apartment finally - and they fixed our toilets, which had always been strange at flushing for the entirety of our stay here. and then, of course, our toilet wasn’t actually fixed. it’s acting the same way it always has again. we also reported seeing water stains from a leak upstairs , and while each time they would go fix the leak, no one has repaired the damage done to the ceiling. so now there’s just giant dark spots on the bathroom ceiling, where one is so bad that there’s black spots among the darker colors (potentially a mold issue?). but whenever we’ve brought it to their attention, we were told it would be fixed, and they’d never come back.
Another fun update as of 12/31 - air conditioner hasn’t been working since the night before Christmas Eve. someone came to look a few days ago, said they’d return when their manager or whatever “returns from vacation” without specifying when that would be.
