Horrible customer service, needs new management and/or training. I recommended this Courtyard to a high level exec given some other reviews and location. We stay at Marriott often and always use the mobile app for remote check-in as flights often arrive late, get delayed, etc. Nowhere does it say this location doesnt utilize mobile check-in. We have never been to any current business hotel chain that doesnt now offer mobile checkin. And note that no obvious alerts to this effect are given to a potential guest before booking. So my friend books and pays for a room. But the mobile app isnt working, and my friend then wastes a lot of time messing with it, ultimately being unable to use mobile checkin. My friends flight was then late and it was after midnight before he arrives to this hotel. He now only needs the room for a few hours to get some sleep and checkout, long before the normal checkout time for the room he paid for the day prior. So my friend goes to the front desk to get his room and is told that 1) this Courtyard does not offer mobile checkin 2) because he didnt checkin before midnight, his room was canceled 3) No refund will be offered because the website says you must checkin before midnight or the room will be canceled 4) hotel wont rebook him because the manager (who he is speaking directly with) wont allow rebooking a guest who didnt checkin before midnight even though the guest was charged. So basically, if this situation isnt resolved and my friend isnt provided a refund for this one Marriott's undisclosed failure to have mobile checkin, Marriott is effectively saying to all paying business travelers 1) you are better off going to Hilton, Hyatt, or any other chain because Marriott Crossroads doesn't give a rip about you 2) Marriott doesn't want your future business 3) Marriott doesn't now or in the future intend to follow any normal business practices 4) Marriott will not try to rectify a situation they created by lack of disclosure even though they easily could have 5) customer service and doing the right thing take too much effort for Marriott to be bothered. The entire ordeal was outrageous and Marriott should face legal or Consumer Protection action if they aren't willing to make this guest whole. I'm happy to delete or update this review based on a response...
Read moreI had the most phenomenal experience during my recent stay at Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Cary Crossroads. From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the day of my departure, the hotel exceeded all my expectations and more.
My room, complete with a luxurious king-sized bed and spacious shower, made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The fridge in the room was an added bonus, allowing me to store snacks and drinks during my time in the hotel.
The hotel staff were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were always available to assist us with any queries or requests we had during our time in the hotel.
One of the most notable aspects of the hotel was the exceptional service quality. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable, catering to our every need with a smile. All our interactions with the staff were pleasant, and the customer service surpassed any hotel experience I have had in the past.
The hotel amenities were another highlight of our stay. The outdoor pool was fantastic, and it was a great way to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. Free Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected, and the business center was perfect for working remotely. I also appreciated the free breakfast and parking, making our stay budget-friendly.
The hotel's location was another plus point. It was conveniently situated close to many restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions, making it easy for us to explore the city. The hotel restaurant was also an excellent dining option, with a vast menu of delicious dishes.
Overall, Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Cary Crossroads is a must-stay hotel for anyone visiting the city. With its excellent customer service, appealing location, and great amenities, it surpasses any hotel experience I have had in the past. I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Cary Crossroads, and I cannot...
Read moreThis has to be one of the most positive hotel experiences I have ever had. I was in the area looking at houses and had to stay here for a considerable amount of time. During my stay, the staff made me feel like family. That's a bit of a cliche, but it's absolutely true here. Even when I came back a few months later to wrap things up on the house, they still knew my name and greeted me upon arriving. The warmth, kindness, and generosity of this staff cannot even be compared to other hotels in which I've stayed. I even walked away with a few friends; unreal how wonderful these people are.
Add to that the newness and quality of the rooms and kitchen. This is a recently built hotel and it shows. The facility is clean and modern. The rooms are beautiful and well kept. The lobby area is sleek and enjoyable. So, between the people and the location I honestly don't think this place can be beat.
I want to close by calling out some of the amazing staff that I had the pleasure to deal with while I was staying there:
Kitchen and Restaurant: Johnnie - the most kind, cool, and considerate Chef I've had the pleasure to know Samantha and Brittney - incredible bartenders and restaurant workers. I would genuinely come down just to see them while they were working (even if I wasn't hungry). Every single time they would greet me with kindness and engaging stories. Madilyn, Matilde & Ty - These are 3 front desk workers who - as noted earlier - treated me like family. They facilitated any and all requests I had, were always available when I had questions or needed items like towels, pillow cases, or beverages, and were just some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to deal with in some time.
I could continue to ramble about the quality of the staff here, but hopefully I've conveyed the point sufficiently. If you're in the RTP area, just stay here. You will not regret the decision.
And to the staff, if you're reading this, thank you...
