I went in to pick up a game, which should have taken me less than 5 minutes. Instead it took me almost 20 minutes, but there was only one person in front of me. The sales person was attempting to sell all kinds of warranties and accessories to the girl in front of me who was obviously uncomfortable and just wanted to take her switch and leave. Meanwhile, the manager was standing there and another employee came up to the front but apparently neither could be bothered to check me out. When I finally get to checkout, the sales person put a warranty on my game without telling me and when I looked at the price I had to tell him to take it off. That is deceptive. They should always ask before just including it. Also, one of the employees was sitting in front of the store smoking when I entered the store. That is gross. Read moreA mixed bag when I visited this store today. Got a great deal on games with friendly customer service and helpful employees. However, when it came time to check the employee said after the transaction was completed "that will be 40.11 with the three games and disc protection." I never mentioned I wanted the protection, nor did he ever ask if I wanted the disk protection ... the extra $6.00 was just added to my total! 20% of my purchase! This led to me awkwardly asking the employee to remove the protection, leading to a twice as long transaction and a frustrated line behind me.
I don't know if this is a GameStop policy or a store policy but on the off chance that it is a store policy, seriously stop making your employees sneak unwarranted insurance on your products... seriously. This is slimy and honestly a crappy bow that was thrown on top of what was otherwise a great experience at your store. You have a great staff, don't make them do shady...

Nicola greeted my girlfriend and I with positive energy and helped me find what I was looking for, Jodi assisted my girlfriend and she also liked my hair pick lol! Corey was the main man who rang me up and got me resubcribed to my Power Rewards membership. He also made it so I could save a few dollars on my purchase.
